JoinedBrought up as a witness in a witness family, but was never really into it. At age 12 my parents and I moved to a small place with a small congregation to "serve where the need is great". It was torture for 7 long years but looking back made me a better person. My parents are still witnesses, I have a brother who is currently disfellowshipped and a sister that has faded. Another brother still attends the meetings but also isnt really into it. I feel bad for my parents, they wanted the stereotypical 'JW Family'. I gave it until I was 30 and decided if Armageddon hadnt come by then, that was it for me. Well, I made it to 23 befoer I faded! The last 6 years of my life have been fantastic! I now work overseas doing 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off and head back to Australia for my time off.
