How many years since you left the wts?

we had a thread yesterday about how many years we spent in the wts, so let's total up how many years it is since we lef or, if you are fading, since you last attended a meeting.. it's just over a year since i last went, and almost 7 since my bf last went, so our total is 8 years.. feel free to add your years out.

How good does if feel to you not attending meetings anymore?

the last year i have been fading and haven't been to the kh since the memorial.
i can't tell you how it has been such a heavy burden lifted off my shoulders not to have to worry about so many meetings!!!

I haven't been to meetings in almost 12 years. But I do remember the feeling of dread waking up on a meeting day. After all the other things we had to do, school, work, homework...I know I had to cram in my last minute studying of whatever literature, and everybody in my fam was stressed out getting ready and dad yelling at us to get our asses in the car, eating something quick or sometimes not at all instead waiting until after the meeting. Finally getting there and trying to be friendly and loving to everybody even if I didn't really give a shit. Making sure to get my two token 'answers' in, maybe more if I was feeling frisky. Getting home late after my mom talked to EVERY one in the hall. Ugggh.

Birth-14: My dad's music which included The Beatles, Lovin Spoonful, Supertramp, Waylon Jennings, Roger Whitaker, Kenny Rogers, Elvis and Patsy Cline, Captain and Teneal (sp?)...and some horrible Hawaiian love theme stuff.
14-18: Whatever pissed off my dad: Motley Crue, Poison, Gorky Park, Alice Cooper(my fav), Joan Jett, Vixen, Ozzy, The Stones, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Metallica, pretty much any metal band...(also dated my 1st worldly boy, a long hair metal band cutie)

by restrangled inthis was such a sad exhange and just shows how unnatural this bogus rule by the wbts is.. i see my moms name on the caller id and i immediately pick up.
(keep in mind we live 2 blocks apart).

by free2beme ini am so sick of this woman, and her fame for simply being born into a rich family.
i am just waiting for the day that we get to see her name in the obituary and not on the front of some magazine to say what a great thing she has done, when she found a lost dog.
i actually like the movie, "house of wax", as it does allow you to see some damage done to this woman.
