China supports ($) for the Darfur tragedy. Also, I heard a radio braodcast this morning that was predceded by a warning: That the subject matter may be too intense for some. They forcably go into homes and take pregnant women to clinics or hosptials for forced abortions....up to 8 months. They inject these women, and the babys are stillborn.. It is because of the law you can only have so many children. It used to be, if you were a devout Catholic and got pregnant, you would pay a fine and be off the hook. But this was so incredably horrible. And if you refuse to sign the consent form, the social worker signs for you! Just unbeliveable. It was on just before the Diane Rheme show.

by ICBehindtheCurtain inhello everyone, a few weeks ago i was researching china and their emerging status as a super power, i learned about the bric alliance which is an alliance formed by brazil, russia, india and china, the projected growth of their economies and the support they are providing for each other, pretty interesting stuff.
my husband and i have been commenting on how it seems that russia and china are joining forces (even had joint exercises with their militaries), then there is venezuela and the support they have received from russia, iran and china, it all seems like there will be a future conflict involving these nations and the us, unfortunately.
i just found the following article which also spiked my interest since it brings home the point that this country is wasting it's resources and it's fighting force on this supposed war on terror while the real enemy is empowering itself.

Pesticides and cell phones they said!!! I don't have a cell phone. Plenty of bees in my yard cause I don't use pesticides as I raise many different kinds of butterflies. But elsewhere they are need to pollinate the food we eat!

Spare the rod and spoil the child. My son was brought up (BY ME) very strict and he is a well ajusted, fine husband of 35. And he was yelled at, at 13 and spanked with a wooden spoon when he was small. Well, not spanked, an occasional whack. And not hard. Trouble today, kids get away with murder, litterallly! So what ya' all think?
