It is like many here have explained: they put up with ANYTHING, if the Slavebugger says that green Smurfs are pooping annointed ones than they will gladly eat that explanation!

This is quite funny. You see, I talk a lot with a friend that ~~serves~~ sewers at Bethel and a couple of months ago he said to me "give the Society another 100 years and they will look about like the Catholic Church"....

I thought to myself that maybe he was only frustrated, but he might have a point....with the difference that the Catholic church has at least classy buildings and famous places you can visit...at least both are pretty good at covering child molesters. Maybe thats the point.

I attend a mainstream church and I agree with this. If the JW's try to mainstream a several things will happen:
They will realize they don't have any good guitar players.

Well, maybe they have....some of the kids at my hall are pretty good playing GUITAR HERO on the XBox....but they mostly play Heavy Metal and Satanic Music

I once posted this comment that i found very interesting:

Jing says that this phenomenon in the archaeological record suggests that people had less freedom to express their individuality and became less creative. When a Society/Organization becomes rigid and homogenous, theres greater potential for collapse.

"Standardized and simplified".....Does that ring a bell? (pun intended...)

My observations, too. I see once very fanatical witnesses plodging away and being "theological lazy" is a very exact expression. A friend of mine is a Bethelite and recently he commented to a group of brothers in his home congregation that any National Geographic magazine is more advanced than the current "style of writing" in the literature...

...another circuit overseer told me that the literature nowadays is mostly directed towards Third World countries, where even a Bible Teach book is to intelectual........

Why hasn't there ever been or ever be a mass exodus from the WTS?

the wts have a history of false prophecies, including teachings that armageddon and the end of the world would occur in 1914, 1918, 1925, and 1975. .

most of us didn't see that the true point of authority was not the bible, but the watchtower magazine, awake magazine,ministry school and the ever-changing views of the governing body.

the word of god in the bible does not change and a prophecy that does not come true is not of god's doing.

I think fear gives them their authority over you. It takes courage to break from the pack. It takes self-esteem to choose integrity over complacency. It takes self assurance to not care about "acceptance" by the crowd. Wow! Very well said, sir! I hope everyday that they hemorrhage TO A SLOW AND PAINFUL DEATH ! About members leaving: I AM still a member (technically, statistically)....BUT, am I supporting the BEAST? Nope. I am helping others to stand up for themselves. I´ve had years of "privileges" (=Status), so I'm at a VERY good position to create some damage... ....and hell, they can all day long blast "former elders" or apostates...nothing they can do about people like me :-) RedPill2006 F%$#% you Watchtower! Excellent comments Billy! Bluesbrothers: spot on! I have wasted 15 years in full-time service and being an "old prophet"=elder. What was I thinking during this WT crap study: Reading from my mind: ".....i have to go to the bathroom.......did i pay my electricity bill?..ehm..yes....what else........falling into a deep dream....yeah, baby take that garment off for me, quick, there are other 200 babes waiting to get naked...yeah call me Salmie....the Wild King.....snap...out of the dream...shit i wish i was Salomon...what a great life......wait, lets see...if i connect all the lines on the drop ceiling and cross them diagonally....oh, god..i feel so sick doing this....it is mind boogling....." Finally I´ve heard the relieving: So, brothers that was it. Next week take another shit. (or so i understood him). As for my current life: Ironically, i dropped the ball on the theocratic privileges...have been working my ass off to get promoted...and actually I have been given a Manager Job at my company...THIS WEEK! My wife felt unconfortable with this weeks study lesson for obvious reasons.... During the study she just asked me about my opinion of this study and I answered "Next thing is to get that yellow, convertible Porsche" (they depicted one on this study lesson! Although, I wouldn´t tune it like the one on the picture.. Being modest, I would leave my Porsche plain-vanilla simple! For humble reasons... Another thought, about this article crossed my mind: "F%$# you, Watchtower....I WILL buy that Porsche just for the sake off pissing some elders off"

Economic Crisis? Don´t panic, read this, enjoy, relax and watch....

lately my family is hammering on this economic crisis....it really pisses me off, that witnesses use anything negative that comes along and throw it in your face to make this logical conclusion: economic_crisis=end_near=work_your_ass_off_for_the_wt....then after a while nothing happens, everybody goes mphff...shuts up....goes quietly along until the next crappy news hit the wire.

this is such a sickening reasoning....it is like a cat trying to biting its own tail => useless!

since i ve started my fading, i have been really studying, real books (economics and history, i have been spoon feed with the societies view on history and have to re-read stuff with another point of view).
