i had my circuit assembly last weekend.

it was absolutely mind numbing, but i took extensive notes, and i thought i'd share the key points with everyone here for your reading pleasure.. .

i feel i'd made a lot of progress since my convention in june.

i just had this funny memory pop up.

as jw, we were not allowed to cuss, right??

well, i had this friend whose mom substituted "piss" for every cuss word.

in the uk a popular inoffensive thing to call someone is a "burke" but the origins of the word "burke" come from a chap in 18th century London called Burke Hunt which in rhyming slang is actually cunt!

i recently went to a wedding and the father of the bride that (re)married a (worldly) man said to me, "the only thing that i can say about raising our kids as witnesses was at least they got a good foundation.

look at our kids.

they're good kids".

Its actually a huge fallacy that being a jw makes you an excellent public speaker, some of the worst public speakers I have experienced in both the secular world and from the jw's , the worst ones would come from the wts

Will the wts face a Muslim backlash over the new tract?

they do, after all, classify all religions apart from theirs as false, and we've seen in the last few days that it doesn't take much to inflame the more militant factions of islam.

there's a large muslim community around here, and i can't see some of them taking kindly to being labelled a false religion.. this may not be the best time for the wts to be distributing such "information", but i expect they will go ahead, oblivious as to the sort of reaction it may provoke.

i hope that nothing much comes of this campaign, but in the sensitive times in which we all live, i can't help wondering....

As usual the wts do nothing to really expose the evil filth of islam , instead continuing to pick the easy targets of the churches or Christendom.

I cussed alot as a jw and I swear even more now , I enjoy it i can turn the air blue in a second , I think it's distinctive, cultured, and brings like minded people together.
