  my poor guy is crabbier than hell.

  i have kept him well fed, but it doesn't seem to do the trick.

  i am calling on all men out there to tell me what to do and i know sex is an answer too, but is there anything in addition to this you guys wish for when work/life is stressing you out?.

  hi chaps .... any help appreciated.

  i am having a ridiculous conversation on another forum with a poster who insists that mizraim is not supposed to indicate the land of egypt within the bible texts.. she claims that freemasons (yep - i know) have shoe-horned egypt into the narrative to draw attention to the pyramids and the world of the occult.. i know that this is whacky stuff and my reasoning with her is not actually helping, as she insists that mizraim is a different land altogether, regardless of my pleadings.. i have searched the internet to aid my quest for knowledge, but i haven't found anything particularly useful to date.. so, can anybody who understands the original language explain to me why the name mizraim was altered to read as egypt?.

  Mizraim was da bruva of cush who, togetha along wiv phut and canaan, made up da amite branch of noah's descendants. mizraim's sons were ludim, anamim, lehabim, naphtuhim, pathrusim, casluhim (out of whom came da philistines), and caphtorim. in orda fa mizraim's name to ave any meanin, egypt must ave already bin founded (and also divided into uppa and lowa egypt). he as bin compared to main man menes, who reunited da turfs as one egypt.

  It is quite clear in the names, customs, attested words, etc. of the Egyptian stories that Mizraim in the OT refers to ancient Egypt.

  damn those egyptian piles of rocks and stones, so skillfully put together without an instruction book as to what their 'true' or not so obvious uses are, or may have been!!!.

  for nearly forty years, because of some blokes pyramidology fantasy i wasted my life and others have wasted their whole lives, waiting for something that was never going to happen in the first place!.

  now, i find myself reading up on pyramids!

  It's true, popular figures are deified.......but would these jews have simply made up stories about him.....such as raising the dead, healing the sick, casting out demons? Did not these jews believe that lying was wrong according to their own law? Why would they lie?

  I suppose you could ask yourself the same question about any group who writes down and passes on stories, myths & legends though?

  Are they actually lying or simply creating a collection of inspirational tales containing a moral theme with magical elements in place? A kind of imaginary theatre of the absurd to help hammer home a central theme to all potential listeners.

  We could say that the Egyptians were the same, or the Sumerians, or the Greeks etc They all had their understanding of the supreme deity & also a series of lesser deities (from godly men, to angels, to demons). I have also read several fascinating accounts where the life of Jesus runs parallel with so-called pagan figures of worship. I'm sure you've seen these yourself.

  Yep - an interesting set of programs that I have archived. Some good information there mon ami.

  BUT - those documentaries only form the opening that leads into the rabbit hole. Go further down the hole and you will begin to get a clearer picture of what is really going on.

  PROBLEM - REACTION - SOLUTION

  The government presents us with the problem:

  A spurious worldwide network of Islamic terrorists and a series of false flag events. 9/11 was simply 'the opener'.

  Then the population reacts:

  We become fearful for our lives and require 'something to be done'.

  Then out comes the solution:

  Your constitutional rights are revoked one by one and now we are at the stage in the West where a potential terrorist (and the definition of what a terrorist is grows vague & dims as the months roll by) can be incarcerated without trial or deported at the whim of the ruling elite.

  & the population in general rallies behind an international war effort against the East, which is both illegal and immoral.
