  A debate on childrens haircuts

  without giving my personal opinion i would like to ask the board, 'what is your view of children with mowhawk haircuts'.

  our family has an ongoing debate as to what is considered an acceptable hairstyle for boys age 5-8. please be unbiased reguards what you may think is my personal feeling.

  your input would be greatly appriciated.

  I have to say that I agree with BrentR. I think mohawks are worn by people who want attention, to stand out, to "rebel" in a way. I don't think children that young need to be making a statement with their hair like that. But to each his own. I'm not judging, just making my personal observations.

  i've gotten the obligatory "back to school" cold.

  it happens every year when our son goes back to school - he brings home some kind of cold bug.

  my head hurts, my face hurts, i'm dizzy, my throat is scratchy.

  Aw, you guys are so sweet. Thanks for all your remedies. (I'm a bit curious to try nvr's recipe-sounds great! ).

  Well, I just got back from the doctor. I went to an urgent care center because I could tell this "cold" was going nowhere but downhill. Turns out I have strep throat! Don't worry, you won't catch it by reading my posts. Just don't touch the computer screen where I've typed.

  Thanks for all the well wishing and encouragement. I will definitely pass on your greetings to LDB. Maybe he'll come around.

  I've gotten the obligatory "back to school" cold. It happens every year when our son goes back to school - he brings home some kind of cold bug. So here I am. My head hurts, my face hurts, I'm dizzy, my throat is scratchy.

  What's worse is that I missed an opportunity to sing at a city art show Friday! That sucks. I finally got a chance to sing and I missed it because of this stupid cold. Oh well, maybe another time.

  Not that anyone missed me, but I haven't posted for about a week now. I got trampled on a bit for a post I made which was obviously misunderstood (and by the way, the whole subject was inconsequential and SO not worth the emotions that ensued). So that kinda spoiled my fun. I'll see ya all here and there, but I definitely am backing off of this forum a bit. It's not worth getting upset about. And by the way, in case you missed it, my hubby Little Drummer Boy has completely DA'd himself from this forum. Makes me sad, because now we don't have this forum to share together. I'm a little grumpy at a couple of people about it, but I just have to let it go. Like I said, it's not worth getting upset about. Laters...

  No littledreaux? Aw. Just kidding. Procreation is a very personal decision and no one else's business. Dogs and cats are cool too. We have 5 cats (and one child).

  Sounds like a test for if/when you two have a baby. It happens to every parent - an initiation of sorts.

  for volunteering at an animal shelter. I'd have a hard time not wanting to adopt every single one of them!

  Buy a copy from Amazon.com. Ray Franz went through a lot of trouble to write and publish the book for the purpose of selling it. It's not free; it's well worth the money.
