i'm sure i would have been saved the first 4 years i was in and i was active.. .

Also, that "MAY" bothered me. That meant I could be doing all I could, following every rule to the letter, and then just because Jehovah felt like it, I could still get destroyed at Armageddon. They might have had some specious logic about "secret sin". But even in the total absence of "secret sin", the "MAY" means you can still get destroyed. And the "MAY" is the stronger term: it implies you have only an even chance, and cannot do anything to alter the odds. Probably means a better chance than not; May means even odds.

That's a very good point. They always have a way of not allowing dubs to feel sure of themselves, don't they?

Well, then, I guess I'd say that I probably definitely might not absolutely have made it through armageddon.

Mixology- Your Favorite Cocktail Or Mixed Drink

1-1/2 oz 100% blue agave tequila
1 oz orange-flavored brandy, such as Grand Marnier or Cointreau
1 oz fresh lime juice

Now that's a real Margarita! Don't go cheap on brands of tequilla, and don't mess with those pre-made Margarita mixes. They're nasty. I'd go fo nvr's Margarita any day. Yum.

My favorite drink:

Fill a 12 oz tumbler mostly full of crushed ice.

Add 1 to 2 oz. of Absolut vodka

Fill the glass almost to the top with 100% pure cranberry juice (not juice cocktail with corn syrup and other junk)

Top off with a splash of orange juice.

It's very refreshing and tastes great.

i used to read the old h2o site and i believe they brought up that this place was up......either that or i typed in jws on search.

Via a link at "Beyond Jehovah's Witnesses", the Timothy Campbell site.

Same here. That site was so helpful to me when we were planning our escape from the borg. It listed several ex-dub forums and I visited them all. I never cared for any of the other ones because either the format was hard to read, or it wasn't very active, or just plain boring. I quickly felt at home on JWD. It is, in my opinion, the best one.

Too bad Timothy Campbell took down his website. It was a great source of info and comfort for me.
