So what....whats good for big business in most cases is good for America. Almost anyone could see this...unless of course they have socialistic or communistic glasses on.

Funny one of our, if not our biggest trading partner countries is communist still. And holds the purse strings to our economy. Funny why didn't russia think of that. oh and still considers us an enemy by the way. They know taiwan is going to fight when they invade and we would of helped them if it wasn't for the fact we owe money to their invader.

Some people would be quite happy for the USA to roll over and show their bellies to everyone from illegal aliens, to Osama. They also would not have a problem with their flags waving over, or in place of where ours fly today. And you seem to be part of this crowd. You know, not everyone was raised in a shall we say less than free state, suffering from an "outcome based" education. Some people can see farther than the my country, always wrong bunch.

OK so bring our boy home then send them to mexico which has been more of a threat to us than any arab country. Living near the border you hear what goes on over there I mean they are warning americans not to go to neuvo laredo. Because they will kidnap you and ransom you. The Mexican goverment sent their army to clean it up and the drug lords wiped them out. ( in a matter of speaking ) Assuming they weren't bribed to go away. One of our state trooper's car got shot up by a mexican army apc. Technicaly thats an act of war. But no we have to fight the arabs.

despite being neutral in war, jehovah's witnesses are not pacifists.

in other words, if you can find a few errors in the bible, will you throw away the whole notion of the bible being "inspired by god".

example: if you find any error in the bible, will it take away the notion that killing is wrong, or stealing is wrong, .

so where do you draw the line, and accept certain biblical teachings and reject other biblical teachings?.

How about rape being OK if it's in a time of war or you marry your victim.

Killing has always been OK if it is god's bidding. If fact he commanded to smash their enemies babies into the rocks.

Stealing as long as it is in war and god gets his cut.

Both Darwin and the Bible got important things wrong: but they got enough important things right that their contributions were a genuine advance for humanity. Darwin's theory is being reworked by modern evolutionists even as we speak, just as a fine old stately home might be updated with indoor plumbing and seismic retrofitting. Jewish and Christian theology have been reworked for the same reasons since the ink on the original manuscripts was drying.

Darwin never claimed divine influnce. Not only does the bible claim it but then it claims it is the infoulable word of god.

Which modern science proved wrong and you admit it's wrong. So why bother with it. Yeah it's got some advice for getting along. So does modern thinking.

Well, that will scare off most JWs. Remember, only one hour a month is required to be considered "regular" or "active" to qualify for everlasting life in a Paradise earth. There is nothing requiring the rank and file to study with anyone, let alone bring anyone into the WT organization.

Holy books ( buy the way, there is a scam called a sacred book scam ) are in generaly are screwy to me but the christian bible is the worst I mean two thirds of the way through it, God says "Ahhh ! Screw the first two thirds and This is what I intended from the begining".

Watchtower Dreams

as part of the therapy i have been back in lately, my therapist has asked me to remember my dreams so we can investigate them.. thrursday i dreamt that i was back in brooklyn, and walking around the factory area which was fairly dangerous when i lived there in the late 70's and early 80's, i felt unsafe.

the factory complex was being torn down by "brothers" using hand tools, hammer's and chisels and pieces of it were falling on the ground around me.

the reasons why this was happening were not obvious, but i had the feeling that they had other plans for the real estate.
