Xanadu,
Having a bad day? Why the stick up yor a**? Geez, dude, or dudette, lighten up!

my wife's congregation recently bought some land to build a new kh on it but then signed over the ownership to an offshore company controlled by the wtb&ts.
they were told that it would make it harder to 'grab' when 'the persecution begins'.. has anyone else heard anything like this?.
it sounds like a way of getting real-estate to me and from what i've heard, sounds a bit dodgy.

Women absolutely DO count in the WTBTS. What would they do if the sisters weren't hammering on doors? The brothers would just me Mormon clones if it weren't for the sisters!
Also, the sisters, mostly seen in their Sunday best(or Tuesday, thursday, Friday, or Saturday) drive the young JW studs crazy! Some with their "only after armageddon" prudishness, turn the young men into blubbering, masturbating fools.
No kidding! Most of the brothers wear glasses and have hair on their knuckles!
good afternoon all,.
i was read the 28th chapter of matthew today.
after jesus' disciples saw he was resurrected, he told them that all power in heaven and in earth was given to him.
Somebody,
Is God and Jesus one in the same? Or, as the WTS teaches, are God and Jesus two separate and distinct individuals?
this is obviously tongue-in-cheek, but supposedly a real letter to a justice in idaho.. dear justice eismann:.
thank you for doing so much in your campaign to educate the citizens of .
idaho that the bible is the source of our moral law.
This is obviously tongue-in-cheek, but supposedly a real letter to a Justice in Idaho.
Dear Justice Eismann:
Thank you for doing so much in your campaign to educate the citizens of
Idaho that the Bible is the source of our moral law.
I need the benefit of your legal advice regarding the specific laws and
how best to follow them.
When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a
pleasing odor for the Lord (Leviticus 1:9). The problem is my neighbors.
They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. How should I deal with this?
I've heard that it is okay to sell one's daughter into slavery, as
suggested in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a
fair price for a daughter?
I know that I am not allowed any contact with a woman while she is in her
period of menstrual uncleanness (Leviticus 15:19-33). The problem is, how do
I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
Leviticus 25:44 states that I may buy slaves from the nations that are
around us. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans but not
Canadians. Can you clarify?
I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2
clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him
myself or should I ask the Idaho Supreme Court to do that?
A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an
abomination (Leviticus 11:10-12), it is a lesser abomination than
homosexuality. Can you settle this matter?
A local man believes that we should not have any kind of relations with
people not of "his type". Numbers 25:6-8 clearly states that people in mixed
marriages should be put to death. Will you rule to change our laws so that
this can be done?
Frankly, I am shocked at how local youngsters are ruining their bodies
with tattoos. Leviticus 19:28 is very clear that there should be no tattoos.
Will you take legal action on this? If the children rebel will you allow us
to stone them as stated in Deuteronomy 21:18-21?
Will you change our rape laws to force a rapist to marry his victim as
required by Deuteronomy 22:28-29?
Leviticus 20:10 and Deuteronomy 22:23-24 are very specific about the need
to stone adulterers. Jesus expanded the definition of adultery to include
divorce (Luke 16:18) and lust (Matthew 5:27-28). When the story broke in
1998 about Helen Chenoweth-Hage's six-year affair I sent a stone to your
pastor urging him to implement God's law. So far he has refused. Would you
explain to him as you did to the Idaho Christian Coalition that God's laws
take precedence and are the foundation of our moral law? Dennis Mansfield
was quoted as saying that he had once watched pornography. Has he committed
adultery?
You have claimed to have studied evolution in great detail and you
believe it cannot have occurred. Will you now rule that the schools should
teach the biblical view of the cosmos, namely, that the Earth is flat with
water above and below, with a hard dome overhead that can be opened to allow
rain to fall? Will you insist that schools teach that there are giants,
talking donkeys, unicorns, four-legged birds and insects as the Bible claims?
Which of the several biblical versions of creation will you rule should be
taught?
From your campaign statements you must have studied these things
extensively so I am confident you can help. Thank you for reminding us that
God's word is eternal and unchanging and that the Bible is the source of our
moral law.
Sincerely,
Gary L. Bennett

jehovah's witnesses, creature worship and active practicers of idolatry.
jehovah's witnesses have long practiced idolatry and various forms of "creature worship," now for many years.
although the wts teaches and has stated many times in their publications that the world in general, by way of such things as "birthday" celebrations, christmas, and other annual events, actually eulogize and extol great glory upon man, the individual himself, and thus, by way of whats known as "creature worship," practice wholesale idolatry!.
BT,
I'm ashamed of it, but I was a part of it. I assumed that the WTS was right, without doing the research.
Your post covers a lot of territory, yet there is so much more. Btw, do you know if the "lying" part has ever been forwarded to any government officials?

SS,
Some, if not most in the WTBTS THINKS that they represent Christianity, sprituality, and religion. I no longer believe that they do. I can't speak for other people who are x's.

Waiting, I agree with what you say. For the JW, It is their JOB to be be self-rightious in most situations. For the xJW or apostate, imho, these situations just go to show how painfully wrong the WTBTS is with the mindset they've inculcated into their masses. When one sees JW's act in these fashions, it's obvious why they're doing what they're doing. The WTS does the thinking for them. Quite often, when confronted with a situation, the JW relies upon JW training to deal with it. To x's or apostate's, it can be maddening to see these displays, because they usually don't come from the heart, it come from the warped teaching they received.
Also, I want to take this oppertunity to express my sorrow for what happen in your father-in-law's situation. I hope your mother-in-law is doing well, as well as your daughter.
joseph smith or rutherford??????.
i mean rutherford wrote some weird stuff and lots of it, i personnally find his writings hilarious..."the list" is a laugh a minute!..
but surely ol' rutherford never wrote something as weird as the quote below by joseph smith the mormon prophet?.
Did Smith really write that? Was this a vision he had?
Wasn't it Rutherford that explained what star system Jehovah lived in?

All this crappy treatment is based on the Society's bogus rendering of how one approaches someone who rejects Christ and His teachings.
When I was an m.s., a sister I was friends with got df'd. I saw her at the mall one day. I looked at her, but ignored her. She looked at me with agony and desperation on her face. What I didn't know at the time was that she had breast cancer and died shortly thereafter. Later, I talked to her fiance', a man that literally was the nicest guy in the "world". I found out from him about her death. He is now raising their son. No JW that I know of ever tried to console this man or his son. When he told me about her death, I almost started bawling. It was the first time tears came to my eyes since becoming a JW.
The WT teachings have hardened my heart. I'm trying now to get back to the way I was before becoming a JW.

Good points, Somebody. Most JW's, according to their doctrine, aren't benefited by calling on Jesus. Jesus is the mediator only for the "anointed". The "publishers" are pretty much how you described them. Rag pushers for the WTBTS.
