I don't know, man. This is starting to sound too prophetic for me. These are strong words you're using, singling out this forum. You base these thoughts on Rev. 21:3? Are you placing yourself in a prominant position in this new organization? Could this be another misapplication, that of which the WTS is famous for? Obviously I'm very skeptical.

This thread has been fascinating to me. I read C.O. Jonnson's and Franz' books. Could you elaborate on YOUR thoughts about the "second coming"?

While I agree that most JW's hold the Bible above the WTS, isn't it true that most JW's believe they can't find the truth in the Bible without the WTS? Isn't that what the Society teaches? Therin lies the irony.
I believe that the Society has engaged in a massive "doublespeak" campaign. The "faithful slave" controls what JW's are allowed to believe to a great extent. There is not a lot of diversity in what JW's believe. Is this because they are a truly united Christian people, or are they led along by the WTS? I believe they have usurped the authority of God and Jesus. If this is the case, is the WTS a false prophet? I believe so.

my wife's congregation recently bought some land to build a new kh on it but then signed over the ownership to an offshore company controlled by the wtb&ts.
they were told that it would make it harder to 'grab' when 'the persecution begins'.. has anyone else heard anything like this?.
it sounds like a way of getting real-estate to me and from what i've heard, sounds a bit dodgy.

I'm sure there's a near majority on the GB that would like to enforce what's on the list. I think they just like to screw with people. They could leak some info about some major new light just before a convention. Then the publishers could hit the conservative areas in their territories, and "place" a buttload of literature.

however, due to my childhood background, this quote is quite curious.. i have read inuendos about homosexuality amoung governing body - but have read no details nor explanations.
I don't have any concrete evidence on this matter, but I have read in various places on the net about this. Maybe Randy Watters has first hand knowledge. He was there at the time, I believe.
