  i posted this on another thread, but i thought a new thread might help get the ball rolling: .

  i have a simple question for all those that believe this war is solely about oil: .

  what exactly do you believe bush is going to do with the oil fields after the war?.

  thanks for the replies. so xander, your version basically cannot end up wrong, as any iraqi control of the oil will be deemed "puppet" by you.....smart prediction. are there any ways to prove this one way or the other after the fact?

  when did i say bush was doing this for the average american? i will be willing to admit it was all done for profit after the fact, if that indeed becomes apparent. this thread was meant as a checking point; something to refer to after the war. im not condemning anyones predictions at this point.

  Bahrain offers exile

  Bahrain's king has offered "safe exile" to Saddam Hussein, saying he hopes the Iraqi leader "would seriously consider this offer, before the onset of war," the government-run Bahrain News Agency said Wednesday.

  King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa "announced that Bahrain is willing to accommodate Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, if he wishes to reside here, with dignity and without disgrace to Iraq."

  The king said that Bahrain's initiative "comes as part of its nationalistic responsibilities, towards ensuring security and stability in the region, in order to avoid war on Iraq and its people."

  what exactly do you believe bush is going to do with the oil fields after the war?

  one person responded quite simplistically: "make money, duh!"

  to which i replied: id like you to be more specific. will he take control of the oil fields, declare them u.s. property, and then sell the oil to the rest of the world, taking u.s. profits? how exactly is he going to "make money"? i keep seeing all these people clamoring about how "bush just wants the oil!!"...but ive yet to see one person lay out what they believe bushs master plan to be. personally, im just curious. id like to see someone predict what will happen with this oil, that way we can check these predictions after the war. it should be a simple assignment for anyone that really thinks they know whats going on here.

  so, there it is......like i said, this shouldnt be too tough for the posters that know what bush is secretly up to.

  so far i haven't heard any country offering asylum to hussein. if he is guaranteed a save heaven and his money somewhere and doesn't agree than we can discuss his rationality.

  i cant believe not even one person has questioned the validity of her statements. every time theres a u.s. media article about this or that, everyone screams PROPAGANDA!....but now, this one reporter is quoting "a senior pentagon official"(sounds like the watchtower version of a source), and no one even questions her comments. id personally like to see some verification of the pentagon quotes (such as "who cares.....") before making judgement.

  this sounds a bit exaggerated to me (the title of the article is obviously meant to sway the readers thinking against the u.s.), but i could see the pentagon warning everyone in harms way to get out of harms way, which would only make sense.

  there seems to be quite a few concerned people out the regarding this war in iraq and for good reason.

  so what exaclty is bothering you about it, does it involve the very real fact that alot of innocent blood could/will be shed ?

  are you fearing this could all be a part of bible/wts prophecy ?

  If they are NOT the same person, it would be a simple matter to just post and explain why they are using the same computer.

  not to mention explain the conversation about "which movie" they were seeing next. um, 15 minutes apart on the same computer....couldnt they have just asked each other in person? lol
