now, the war is over, the weapons were not used and of course have not been found.. how threatening could they be if they did not even use them when being invaded by a massive force (of the countries they hate)?!
perhaps, as many suspect, they didn't use them because they didn't have them?.
now we're being told that we'll have to be patient and give them time to find them.

me and simplesally have been talking about homes.
disasters and triumps... .
right now, i'm finishing my libary/chill out room.
But they all had something in common, after I smoked one I would get a headache, sometimes a bit of nausea, and my mouth would taste like ass all night and most of the next day
i dont know about the headache and nausea, but the bad aftertaste for 24 hours is pretty common.

i like macanudos and arturo fuentes, for cigars that wont completely break your bank ($5-$10 per cigar). if you want to splurge, opus x is the greatest non-cuban cigar on the planet, but they can be very hard to find.

on september 8th, the cbs show 60 minutes ii ran a story bringing to light which purported to show that when president bush was in the national guard he failed to obey orders.
the memos were supposed to have been written in the early 1970s by a lieutenant colonel jerry b. killian.
(who is, as it happens, died in 1984.
of course the kerry campaign denies it was involved at all .......

is the story really "far from over"? you can back away from this one anytime you want....cbs has already taken that advisable road:

i strongly recommend the cleavelander in south beach, if you want to get a taste of the true atmosphere down there. be warned though, if youre a quiet type, its not for you....the music doesnt stop (theres basically a dance club poolside). dont stay near the stadium...its up in north beach, and there nothing to do....south beach is the place to be.

okay i promise i wont be a schmuck and give away all of the twists, not that they're not obvious.

according to many of the reviews ive read (and reportedly an interview with m.night, though i havent read it), the movie is actually meant to be a political statement (anti-bush administration). he means to make a point about "post 9-11 isolationism", and using fear to control the masses (with invented or exaggerated threats) while simulataneously taking away freedoms. a few tie-ins: the significance of colors in the movie (terror alerts?), with red being the "bad color"....."those we dont speak of" (weapons of mass destruction? terrorist threats?).....and a pretty obvious one, the name of the town leader, walker (a certain presidents middle name).
personally, i thought the movie was awful, and not because of the lack of gore (as one poster suggested may be the case) or the political statement behind it.........but because i had a really hard time staying awake through it. its just flat out boring for the most part. the dialogue was absolutely painful, the pace was plodding, and shyalmalan is obviously a one trick pony (twist endings are a requisite, and now can be simply looked for the entire movie....although i didnt figure them out). aside from those points, there are some pretty glaring plot holes (the village idiot not only finds a hidden moster suit in the floor boards, but also figures out that ivy is deep in the woods, and decides to go chase her around while wearing it? seriously??......not to mention, with a secret that important, wouldnt they be a little more careful hiding the evidence?). it all adds up to his first real stinker, imo, and i am a huge fan of his other three movies. i wont be visiting the village again.

actually, according to simon, kerry was immature and lacks common sense for being enlisted in the first place....so his service is pretty meaningless.

I doubt seriously if MM hates Bush. Probably dislikes him quite a bit though.
hate:
1. to feel hostility or animosity toward.
2. to detest.
3. to feel dislike or distaste for.
under usage, you find the following (bold/italic mine):
Hate is the generic word, and implies that one is inflamed with extreme dislike. We abhor what is deeply repugnant to our sensibilities or feelings. We detest what contradicts so utterly our principles and moral sentiments that we feel bound to lift up our voice against it.
that sounds about right to me.....and i doubt moore would disagree with the above descriptions of his feelings toward bush.
