when i say delusions, im referring to specifics, like when you said the central banks would be bankrupt by the turn of the year. to me, thats delusional, and it obviously didnt happen which was no surprise to any of us sane posters.

As for giving any specific dates, I have never done that.

Just because Y2K wasn't the detonator, for example, or just because the LTCM collapse didn't set off the chain reaction collapse that I am anticipating, doesn't nullify the fact that the system is still poised on the precipice. Such threatening events demand that we consider them.....

actually shortly after the attacks on the wtc, you were the one who was laughing, whooping and hollaring (i can find you the links if youd like)......personally i do not find it a laughing matter, no. the bible speaks very specifically about those that take pleasure in calamity, so youre walking on thin ice with that one.

even more amusing is your constant yk/christ comparisons (im reminded of david koresh for some reason). there is one big difference though, christ didnt give a bunch of specific dates that were then proven wrong by the course of time. can you see the difference, and therefore why your credibility is quite a bit below jesus in the predicion department?

including me, its certainly not a laughing matter. the part thats a laughing matter is your periodic predictions of the end of the world, or financial collapse.......your prophetic utterings come and go, and your deadline for these predictions come and go, and we are all thoroughly amused by your delusions.

well its certainly a concern, isnt it? i doubt that president clinton believes terrorists or financial collapse are about to bring on the beginning of the end of the world this year though, which is the opinion youve expressed.

on the contrary, i never said the subject matter was amusing, this is another classic case of you twisting my words (its a deceit tactic). what i do find amusing rather, is your posts/threads in general (check my last post for confirmation of this statement), in which you constantly predict the "end of the world" or "worldwide financial collapse" or "ww3, the nukes are coming", in your typical proclamatic fashion.

I couldn't care less about your personal life or what you believe.

then why do you ask me about what i believe in (your last post)? you contradict yourself so often, its dizzying.

Whereas, on the other hand, you and several other posters appear to be absolutely obsessed with me, almost to the point of being some sort of cyber stalker.

once again, please, dont flatter yourself. its funny that you use the "obsession" tactic in order to make others look bad; nytel uses the same tactic (ive been personally accused of being "obsessed" with him as well). i imagine this tactic is a way to divert attention away from the posters that put the biggest dents in your arrogant proclamations. personally though, i will admit that your threads always get my attention first and foremost, mainly because they are the most amusing (along with a couple of other "jw" posters) threads/posts on the entire forum, and also because you are so easily discredited, yet you are always arrogant enough to claim victory (even after the multitude of proven failures).....again, the amusement factor is off the charts.

i dont think this is an actual question you want answered, but rather a sarcastic slam....but ill humor you with an answer anyhow. if you actually have an interest in knowing the truth, there is an icon next to my name that shows all the threads ive posted in. a quick glance will show that your threads are not the bulk of my concern, not by a longshot. that being said, i never pass up an easy target, so i do usually pop in on your blubberings.

? Just how do you imagine that Americans are ready for a nuke to go off in their backyard?

the same as they are ready for and expecting a biological attack (much bigger than the antrhax mailings). anticipating an attack doesnt mean it will have no affect. of course it will have an affect on our livelihood, just as 9/11 did. the fact is though, 9/11 opened everyones eyes, and nothing will surprise anyone now. when, not if, the next attack happens, we will deal with it and move on, just as we have with 9/11.

In your stupidity you imagine that if one harbor were nuked that business would just carry on in normal fashion.

youve misquoted me, yet again. go back and read my post, and youll see i said nothing of the sort. what i did say is that world trade would not completely shut down.

For those who haven't taken leave of their senses, all one needs to do is look at how 9-11 impacted the airline industry.

funny that you used the same example i used to defend my statement. youve only proven my point with this quote.......has the airline industry completely shut down? hmmm......my sister just got off a plane two weeks ago.......she didnt even encounter any long security delays, business as usual. again, of course such an attack would have a severe affect, for a short time, but we would deal with it, and move on.

But, there can be little question but that the terror created by such a weapon would be far greater than the use of conventional bombs.

the terror is already here....you put way too much emphasis on this nuclear possibility. they have already played out extensive nuclear scenarios on all the major news networks, and the fact is that no matter terrible and devastating this would be to americans.....americans are ready for it, if not expecting it. any financial wizard (such as yourself) knows that all expected calamaties are already factored into the current market values.

One fear is that terrorists could import nuclear weapons in container ships, or crude oil containers, and then set them off when the ship comes into harbor. If such a thing occurs, even if the damage was relatively confined, it would shut down world trade.

oh it would shut down world trade....right...because we only have one harbor for imports in the entire u.s. LOL. it would shut down nothing, your blubberings have no end. if you mean to insinuate that it would shut down world trade for the fear of more attacks, i think the thousands of airplanes in the air right now shoot down that line of reasoning. attacks such as these would only strengthen our resolve to continue on, just as the last one did.

The ridiculer of course, in his smug stupidity, is sure that no such collapse of civilization will ever occur.

arent your predictions and the example you give here ENTIRELY different? heres my reasoning, let me know what you think: your example here is about the coming of jesus, of which no specific date, day, month, year, hour was ever given in the bible, correct? that means we are supposed to have faith that it will happen, eventually. now the difference is that you have SPECIFICALLY predicted months and years for your calamities to take place in, and every time you are PROVEN without a doubt completely WRONG by the actual events that unfold. are you intelligent enough to see the differnce?
