  What's running through the grapevine

  so i was talking with an girlfriend that i had (actually the only friend i had in 'the truth').

  we have recently reconnected, and she's still on the fence as to whether or not to go back into the org.

  however, her aunt, an elder's wife and all-around snot rocket, let her know what was going on in the truth (i'm guessing to get her to come back full-time cause 'look at all that's happening, and it's the end!

  My first week here ...thoughts

  i have been hear for about a week now, and have not been is such a strange mental place since i was a witness.

  it has been good, the programming still kicks in however, but i'm getting less and less afraid to reason with it.

  i got my coc book yesterday.... i sat looking at it and thinking of all the years i avoided it, mischaracterized and marginalized it, w/out having any specific knowledge of what was actually in it.

  Welcome!!!!

  I remember when I was thinking of going back and I was doing research on the inter-net...I would come across WT quotes that were showing how wrong they are...and for some reason just reading the way they said things, and seeing the type set they used made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It was weird. That is when I felt I had been brain-washed.

  well, problem is hubby doesn't want them at work cause it will give him "dorito breath".

  Searching For JWs/Dr. Laura's Advice (cheating with two topics :P)

  often, i find myself doing google searches for people who i went to kh with years and years ago.

  i try to find clues of what they're up to, search out the ones who were "weak in their faith", and try to see if they are still hanging on, or have "fallen away from the truth".

  i look for people my own age to find out what they're doing.

  I always wonder about old friends too. One thing I recently thought of though is that most who used to know me know I DA"d myself...so if they leave, maybe they will find me.

  I wonder what Dr L would think of families disowning us due to leaving their religion...Would that be the same as "well...it was our choice to leave and get disowned"? I have wanted to call her and ask what she thought of that because it is the situation I deal with in my life. However....sometimes I think she doesn't really listen to what people say...and she scares me!LOL!

  Shell...you don't want to know!! LOL!!

  They are chocolate crispy sandwhich cookies with white firm cream filling. You dip them in milk and the cookies get soft or you can twist the cookies apart and scrape the filling with your teeth. I will send you some if you dare!

  Don't you have Tim-tams there? My sister said those were like the Oreo is here...as far as popularity goes, not taste EDIT...Nevermind....That was in Australia

  Funions will give you SUPER bad breath!!!! My sister once said my breath smelled like a litter box when I was eating them....Ekkkkkkkkk!
