  I'm in love and I need your help

  i went to borders yesterday to buy a book and this borders happens to be next door to petsmart, as i'm driving in i notice a group of people with dogs and i realize it's adopt a pet sunday, i love animals so i made a mental note to go by and see the dogs.

  so fifteen minutes later, i spot her sitting by herself in a corner and i'm in love.

  her name is peaches, i called her and she ran up to me a licked my hand.

  One thing you should do is get a dog kennel when you get the dog. Put a towel in there and if you are not home, keep her in there. Dogs actually feel safe in a kennel...and it keeps them out of trouble. It is also good to let her sleep in it too. If dogs sleep with you, they often feel like they are "at your level" in the pecking order, which can lead to behaviour problems. Keep in mind that dogs have a "wolf pack" mentality and you need to be the top dog. Feed yourself first, then the dog...go through the door first, then let her in....make her sut before you take her out for a walk. Those are all things that will show her you are the boss, and make her very content to be you dog. It's lots of fun!!

  If you can ever watch "Dog whisperer" on TV....it has great advise!

  Well, Trev is ill now!

  at least i don't think so.. he has a flu-like illness and feels pretty awful.

  by his own admission, he's been neglecting himself these last few months, and i think with all the stres he's been under that perhaps his immune system is very low.

  he looks pretty awful as well, like he's had all the blood drained out of him.. even so, he was going to get on with the things he needs to do today, at least until i intervened.

  think you were above the law when it came to trespassing?

  i began thinking about this after reading about danny haszard's pepper spray incident.

  When the society said to basically disobey the No Trespassing signs at your own risk...I being thoroughly brainwashed took it to mee something similar to their phrase "it's a conscience matter". In other words....I felt like if I was really a good JW and doing all I could...I would ignore the sign to try to save someone....even if it did mean my own death. STUPID CULT

  i so loved the post of the kitten the other day.

  i checked-out this week and drank three bottles of gin, even though i stopped in toto four months ago, my wife is out of town.

  please do not post anything about counseling here as i have tried that and am on lots of meds.

  I don't know what to say Oompa. I am sorry you are feeling low. I hope you start to feeling better. I can relate to getting so depressed and feeling there is no hope....but, then the sun comes out again...and there is more to be happy with. I hope your sun shines soon. ((((((HUGS))))

  Thanks for the video...The part where it showed a "no blood sign" and then had a picture with a mother and two children smiling, but with the son having a "no blood symbol" on his face really shows how their rules KILL people.

  ok, so if i follow the paradigm, the afterlife goes like this:.

  all the good little folks go to heaven where they sing, float around, maybe watch over some clueless schlub back here, and are permanently joyous because they are wired that way and have no choice in the matter, but are basically 'staff'.

  the wicked, who got to have a bit more fun while alive, go down to hell where they are poked, prodded, and buggered by demons, they are 'clients', but not 'staff'.
