Growing my beard was one of the first things i ever did when i left the org. I also made my hair so devilish and spikey they would throw me out of a hall if i ever walked in one with the rockstar look i have now! Screw them and their delusional thinking of how your pyhsical apperance shows what kind of charactor you really are inside. I am a very kind compasionate and caring man who would do anything for anyone. Who the f are they to judge that by my looks. The man made rules are rediculous.

THe Tattoo went awesome I will be doing a follow up in 2 weeks to highlight the area and do a texture for the ground around the figure using white ink. We will be doing our first tat show soon. Once i get my pictures on my computer i will post a shot of the work.

Well on wednesday I am going to be getting my first tattoo. I have had this particular piece of art that I have wanted for years but was too afraid to put it to skin as it will require a great amount of detail. But I finally decided to go for it. Plus the tattoo artist is doing it for a real great price because he wants me to go showcase his work at some tattoo shows in New York, Cleveland, and Columbus. He said he thinks this will be his finest piece ever. It will look like this but will only be the lower image not the band name. But i will be incorperating the word foREVer in the wings or adding a scroll with " The Rev" in its hands. Just as a tribute to my favorite musician of all time the late Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan.

Newbie Again (Kinda Sorta)
by lostinnj83 ini made my first post (which i have attached) more than 2.5 years ago.. sad to say i am still in the same situation.
still "physically in" but have mentally been gone for years.
i am still in my marriage and unfortunatly things have not gotten any better as far as me being able to help him see the light as far as the organization.. i am at a serious crossroad though because i am almost 30 years old, with no children.

You owe it to yourself to be happy. No other person in the world "owes" this to you happiness starts within. If you are miserable on the inside because of the situation of being enslaved to the "truth" you won't be able to be happy. Your heart already knows your path that you need to take. Yes a break form everything you know in life is tough. I know this from first hand experence I was born and raised in the truth. I lost EVERYTHING when I left the organization but what happened is I GAINED myself. Yes life can be very tough without the ones you have known your whole life but think of things this way. You are 30 years young now you have serious doubts about jw life, you still have around 30 years till you are 60. Where do you want to be at 60? Do you want to be living this same trail of misery and anguish or would you rather have something established in your life that will make you happy. I have had a rough time in my life since I have left the org for sure but i in no way regret my choice. I refused to be religously abused any more in my life and it has given me a inner peace that i will never let go of. Keep spending time on here there are some real good people who know what has happend to you because they have lived it too.
I wish you the best in whatever you decide to do.
