Brother Jeramy you said on another post that you are still an active witness. Do you still go in field service? And if you do aren't you afraid of indoctrinating others with certain aspects of the JW religion that you don't agree with? I ask respectively?

I knew one personally she was a bit crazy and could hardly see. She used to read the publications with glasses on and the publications about two inches from her face. She had a drop dead gorgeous daughter who I was pressured to go on a date with (supervised of course). All the young brothers would have crawled bare naked through a mile of broken glass just to get her attention but I was really starting to think and I guess I was smart enough then to not get mixed up with her.

Seems very easy to leave now, why do people hesitate?

when i see people on here saying they've looked on several sites before this one, jwfacts, jwstruggle, youtube, etc., and then they make friends here, sometimes meeting up with ex-jws, it seems incredibly easy compared to leaving in 1989. .

no internet, no amazon to find ex-jw books, no facebook to link up with ex-jw groups.

still people find it so hard to leave.

I agree Londo I reasoned my way out of the truth before the internet. It was tough my family shunned me I was a young man with no money and no job and not even a place to live. It was a very lonely and troubled time in my life!

Now days with the internet there is no excuse for not being aware of TATT leaving on the other hand is a different kettle of fish.

The Jehovah's witnesses organization is organized crime. It profits off of slave labor pays no taxes and has a governing body that jets all over the world wining and dining themselves while many members can't afford to put food on the table.

this information is certainly not new, but as almost every exjw has deep affection and concern for active jws it is certainly my wish and i hope the wish of other exjws that any active jw considers this information.

this information cannot be deemed as apostate, it is just stating the opinion of someone who has spent much of his adult life in helping people to realize what a cult is.

Of course their a cult. They meet every definition of a cult.I am just glad that after being raised in this cult I managed to reason my way out of it and at a young age.

It must have been hard for Adam to calculate the years at the time. Remember the Earth was surrounded by water vapor that didn't fall until Noah's day. How would you know there are 365 days in a year or even what time of day it is if the sun and stars were blocked out by water?

there is plenty of evidence of a slow evolutionary changes over millions of years and i do not disagree with this.

but again that fact that mankind can not create a living creature from scratch mean there must be a creator?

Man couldn't fly a few years ago. We put men on the moon a few years after mastering flight. We've discovered dna and it's implications. We've discovered how to harness the atom. New medicines and vaccines just give us time.
