i love celebrating holidays now... even though all my family wont be there:( hoping one day they will see the "light.
" maybe the " light will get brighter" and the jw will have a new understanding that everthing has pagan origins and its all about family on holidays.

our youngest brother, josh, who was 38, was found by his friends in his apartment.
he hung himself.

If they only had a brain
by Sour Grapes inlast sunday i visited a hall to see a friend.
the brother giving the talk spent the first 20 minutes talking about how bad the world is and then the next 10 minutes he pointed out how god's kingdom is the answer.
one thing he mentioned is all of the millions of starving children in the world and how the money that we spend on just a few bombs that are dropped in the wars could feed thousands of children.

My own Brother in law who was a stand up character for me at my Wedding. He ended it all with a rope! Ghastly is the only way I can describe it! Take care and cover and be fully aware that there are others that have been through it all and can commiserate with you! -

I think that what the U.S Government did to you was disgusting! I have not read your book because? I don't have to. LOL
My Father was an avid JW who worked as a guard at Kingston and Millihaven Penitentiaries in Ontario..
look up the big riot the inmates had in the seventies! My father was saved from having to deal with that with the birth of my sister. The view from the hospital Window with all the Army helicopters flying around was heartbreaking!
That's only the beginning of my story!

Excellent point! When one looks at the impact of alcohol on the Aboriginal peoples of Canada and the Inuit. It makes one wonder? Remember Europeans would not have survived without access to wine because of tainted water issues! The Inuit and Canada's Aboriginal peoples had tons of good clean water but no need for alcohol!
