GB member Geoffrey Jackson is lying!
by Billy the Ex-Bethelite inokay, i know the royal commission hasn't started yet.
but i'm confident enough that he will be telling some whoppers.
so i thought i'd be the first to get a thread started for something that will begin... very soon now!.

I don't want the Watchtower's version of paradise.
by StarTrekAngel ini am writing this in the hopes that it may help someone in a debate.
i personally have not had a chance to discuss it with anyone but that is true for most other topics.
i think is a good one to analyze.

DATA DOG:The WTBTS represents Neo-Zionist communism.
I never thought about it in those terms before! LOL So true.
Paradise as envisioned by the witnesses would make the likes of Stalin wretch when you think about it.
Look at the beautiful diversity we already enjoy on earth. To some people deserts are their choice for others its mountains others its jungles others its the sea and the list goes on and on. All these habitats come with their own challenges and rewards paradise is different for everybody.

Welcome and I am with dubstepped on this one. The opposite of love isn't hate, it's apathy. I don't hate the individual witnesses they are just delusional fools some eventually realize it some don't.
It can be lonely place leaving the tower and believing TTATT I hope that this site makes you feel a little less alone.

Do you think the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a war crime or a terrible act of war ?
by truthseeker100 ini believe that the bombings shortened the war in the pacific and probably saved countless lives.
i am not an expert on this subject but given the times it was probably the correct and moral thing to do.. what say you all?.

Thanks for the perspectives so far all. I would like to hear more from the Japanese, Russian and European members on this forum. Again lets all hope that history never repeats itself when it comes to atomic weapons. In the words of many WW2 vets that I've known "Never Again!" -

Nuclear weapons do kill enemy people and destroy the enemy's things better than anything else in man's arsenal after all that is the objective to winning any war.
We now have nuclear weapons many times more powerful I hope that it will never be necessary to use them again. We all know how the fourth world war will be fought don't we. Lets hope that as a species were not consigned to be victims of our success in this area.
As for a war crime ? All war is a crime of sorts. I think given the same scenario the US would be justified in doing it again. A true war crime would have been dropping atomic weapons unprovoked.

Won't get fooled again ...Moon Landing.
by The Rebel inso i was fooled by the witnesses.
what can i learn from that?
not to accept things at face value but to seek out opinion and different view points.. hence my question " do you believe man landed on the moon?.

They should have a debate on weather or not the atomic bombs that were dropped by the US on Japan really happened. It could have been a series of high explosives with nuclear debris thrown in (Dirty Bomb). With the technology available at the time the Japanese and the rest of the world could easily have been fooled. Solving complex riddles like this helps all individuals fulfill their full intellectual potential.
Maybe I should start a thread on that ?

regarding Jacksons testimony.
by umbertoecho inhas anyone here re-watched that last day?
the part where justice mcclellan is asking mr jackson if he feels that this royal commission is a sincere effort to make some good changes in policy...?.
and does mr jackson feel it would be worth it to put a collective effort, along with other organizations to compensate or find means of redress, for the victims of child sexual abuse?.

I predicted that he wouldn't testify that he would fake a heart attack. I was right he had a figurative symbolic heart attack that overlapped his testimony in true governing body style, he did testify though as if he had nothing to hide, a true deluded liar he believes is own bullshit. -

Viviane: Also, unless they're being taught how to evaluate evidence and quality thinking skills first, any "debate" like that (because there is no debate) will simply serve to make a lot of those kids dumber.
Yes but being dumber seems to be a quality that is in demand and may be a marketable skill these days. As evidenced by 400 or so posts in this subject area!
Take care all.
