if we are/were his people, we would have got out of babylon the great before entering the ranks of jehovah's witnesses.
the question is - why is he saying my people, who are the " my people" that he is talking to and where are such ones to "get out from" ?

Strangely enough I remember [when I was a JW] practically every meeting hammered on in some way or another that any religion [not JW] was a part of Babylon the Great...and oh how elders at the KH loved to bash Catholics and the Vatican...blah blah blah. The irony is WBTS is no different! Thanks to the Internet, which I truly believe is turning out to be WT's nemesis, has exposed all kinds of contradictions, comparisons leading to assertion of WT's false profecies, War Technology investments, UN/ NGO involvement, Tax problems in France, and most of all the shabby way Bethelites and other sacrificed workers are treated, and that's the tip of the iceberg folks!!!!!!

Why dont JW's have a youth group?
by In_between_days insomething that has been alarming to my jw family is the amount of teens ("young ones") that have bailed out of the organisation, never to return.. they use the excuse, as would most jw's that "satan is getting them - he knows young ones are vulnerable.".
if you want my opinion, young people are getting far more educated - they are becoming far more broad minded than they were say 10 or 20 years ago.
because of the slow yet sturdy slackening of the "no college" rule, many more young jw's are attending university or college than ever before, and with further education comes more knowledge, more interaction with reasonable and intelligent conversations with educated people and most importantly -use of the internet ("satans latest tool, as put by a jw i talked to recently).

[2]Why don't JW's have day-care for working sisters?
[3]Why don't JW's have senior citizen centers?
[4]Why don't JW's have referral services for members to get a technical education to get off of welfare?
[5]Why dont Jw's have referral service for those members who have been mugged, raped, child molestation,burglarized, suffered loss due to natural disasters, sister's needing relocation due to domestic violence?
It's so easy to label that secular governments services as influenced by Satan the Devil, but I ask...What the hell is WBTS doing besides "preaching the good news" all over the world, while beaten down members stay beaten down??? Government services are a matter of survival inspite of WT redderick....Oh silly me, elders do take interest in sisters that have been raped and that is to see if she yelled out loud....and that's the extent of elder concern...poor excuse of a religion.

by BB inmy wife hit a deer while driving her new vw passat with less than 300 miles on it.
thats the car with the 300 miles on it.
we dont know how many miles the deer had on it at the time of collision.

Well, in broad daylight, riding the bus home [I work in Westchester Co.,NY] a deer ran in front of the bus, but the driver hit the breaks and deer just scurried to the other side [whew]. A friend told me that when it's hunting season upstate, deer come further south in populated areas to avoid the hunters, those crafty deer........Oh dear!......rocky220
