Ever had some Witness storm out or turn off a Movie you were watching! Which one?

i was watching steve martin "leap of faith" pg rated mind you with some witnesses.

he plays a fake faith healer.

their were a couple swear words, and the brothers asked me to switch it off.. same thing happened with christine applegate movie {pg 13} "don't tell mom the babysiters dead.

ive kind of been lurking on this website for a month and ive decided to introduce myself so a little background.

i was born and raised jw at about the age of sixteen i started to have doubts about my mothers chosen religion (dad is not jw) so started to do some research and decided it wasnt for me.

my mothers still at me about going back though.

1930's Great Crowd - Still a "generation" problem?

the recent "generation" explanation redo says that the generation means the anointed living now, and we can still have more anointed, therefore there is no limit on how long the generation can run.

this is an attempt to keep 1914 alive and healthy.. however, the wts still teaches that the great crowd began to be gathered in the 1930's (ex: rutherford had people stand and said "behold, the great multitude) since revelation defines the great crowd as coming out of the great tribulation, doesn't that create a life span problem?

what is going through the minds of even the youngest baptized 10 year old members of the great crowd in 1935 who are now in there 80's.. the other sheep of john 10 seems to fit a discription of gentiles.

it exhausts them at times.........I take no prisoners in annoying witness relatives

true story....last week my mother in law was up at our house....she was going on about a documentary on catholic priests and paedophilia.....

I asked her....."have you ever heard of silent lambs"?....she said...."is that a book"?.....honest!!!....I'm sure she was thinking of "silence of the lambs"

I said ...."no it's a website"....and then my wife said......"it's a website talking about Jehovah's witnesses".............he he

annoy the hell out of the culties...it's our duty
