i agree with you free2beme, no ones mentioned it at my work wither, hell i havnt even heard of it off anyone else but this forum! lol.
Its funny that they keep bothering because at the end of the day anyone that tells you out of the blue that ''your going to live forever'' or something else like that the first thing that you think is ''your insane'' and if you dont think that the next thing is ''ok then wheres the proof'' but they cant answer that, so of course no ones going to listen.

my mother found some old jw records a couple of months ago, they apparently were what the dubs used to use when they were witnessing, theyd go out with a record player and play these records to people to preach to them.. just wondering if anyone else has any of these?
im guessing theres probly not that many of them around, i think i have about 6 or so of them and they are quite old, (im at work at the moment so i cant really tell you any more about them) i was thinking that i mite sell them on ebay, maybe ill get a bit of cash for them.. .

my ex left the dubs before we were married and had kids.
now 20 years later he has returned to the fold and we have separated.

for most all of us here we have had association with the jehovah's witnesses in some way or another.
there are many man-made "rules" within the organization.
that fact we all agree on.
i beleive i still do, i am still keeping the same morals as when i was in the org, although it mite be harder but thats not the point, you could say theyve been burned into my brain so i have no choice, but now i keep them for the right reasons, not because i mite get disfellowshipped.

what do you think about the wts prohibition on beards?
currently in the us, i think a brother can wear a beard, he just won't be used in the congregation.
i see all references in the wt to beards are in a negative light, such as the supreme court upholding a supermarket chains no beards rule.
LOL! yeah i remember about a year or so ago i said to one of my mates that i wanted to grow a beard, i just got this strange look as if i said ''i want to run down the main street of my home town naked'' it was the weirdest thing, ill always remember that though, lol

sorry to burden you all with this but i really have no one that i want to talk about this with, i'm afraid that i will burst into tears and wont be able to stop if i call any of my friends and tell them what's going on.
my little sister has been ill with a fever for three weeks, her doctor kept telling her it was just a bad case of the flu and that she had an ear infection, he gave her antibiotics and sent her home.

just wondering if anyone has an 'inside contact' or some way of getting the newer jw material, i think it would be interesting to see what they are printing now, does anyone know of anything new?
i have no way of getting any anymore because i no longer attend the meetings as of quite a few months ago,.
