Do u believe in God??

hi everyone, i don't know if i believe in god or not.. can someone give me a really convincing reason why to believe in him or not.. or is it just down to faith???.

faith in god is a bit like playing the lottery.. you have to sacrifice 1 a week, but you might just win.

you may as well, it's not much of a sacrifice, infact it helps people (lottery money helps projects/investments), but the prize is well worth winning.. anyone like my anallergy (is that how you spell it?).

The lottery money goes mostly on football staduims, opera houses, multi-million £ domes scheduled for destruction after a year... whilst the poor spend pound after pound on trying to grasp a far-fetched prize of a large sum of money.

The non-profit company who wanted to run the lottery was cheated out of it, so Camelot could continue to make a large profit and plenty of others could live in corrupt luxury...

There are hospitals and schools being shut down accross the country, not enough money to fund them...

And you say its a good analogy?

i would like to interject independently of a thread below, where the debate is satan being god's 'wife'... and therefore, wisdom.. 1. satan... was one of the 'cherubs' that was 'covering' the ark of the covenant.

michael is the other 'arkangel', and both were created to 'cover' the propitiatory... which 'covers'... the ark.. exodus 25:17-22. ezekiel 28:14, 17.

whom do you trust?

according to apostates, god and his word can't be trusted because the bible is unreliable and jehovah god is a baby killer and murderer of innocent people.

trusting the watchtower is out of the question, because obviously, the whole thrust of the apostasy is aimed at discrediting the watchtower so as to create wicked suspicions and distrust in the minds of trusting ones, apparently with some success.

i found this open letter hilarious, and certainly not off-topic for us .... jj.

dr. laura schlessinger is a us radio personality.

recently, she said that as an observant orthodox jew, homosexuality is an abomination according to leviticus 18:22 & cannot be condoned under any circumstance.

I have no idea who this Dr Laura bird is, but she is right.

Homosexuality is wrong according to the Scriptures.

Whether Jew or Christian, it is plain and simply condemned..

If you are a true christian, then I want nothing to do with it. Why? Because you have repeatedly prophecied and NOTHING has occured. And I dont want to worship a God who lies.

However, the Bible says God cannot lie. So, why dont you just look back at all your prophecies, and realise, that YOU are a man, YOU made mistakes, and YOU are in the wrong. By continuing your stupid games you are doing nothing but bringing reproach upon your Lord and Father. STOP CONTINUING to call Jah and Jesus liars and ADMIT YOU ARE IN THE WRONG. The more stubborn you become, the bigger the hole you are digging for yourself.

Think about it.

Issue Facing Apostates

most of the stuff posted here is negative, hateful, and blasphemous against god.

even if many of you are right in saying that the jws are wrong on many and important issues, that does not make you right.

so unless you are convinced that there is no biblical god you are facing serious trouble when you die or if the lord comes during your lifetime.

Be careful here, you are treading the fine line of blasphemy against God, for which you can never be forgiven. I love you and do not want to see that happen to you.

Hmmm... try reading what the Bible says

Luke 12:10: And everyone that says a word against the Son of man, it will be forgiven him; but he that blasphemes against the holy spirit will not be forgiven it

Matthew 12:31-32: On this account I say to YOU, Every sort of sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the spirit will not be forgiven. 32 For example, whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the holy spirit, it will not be forgiven him, no, not in this system of things nor in that to come.

Mark 3:28-29: Truly I say to YOU that all things will be forgiven the sons of men, no matter what sins and blasphemies they blasphemously commit. 29 However, whoever blasphemes against the holy spirit has no forgiveness forever, but is guilty of everlasting sin."

Can the so-called Jeremiah class expect anything different? In fact the propechies say that God has even temporarily covered the heads of his prophets and visionaries until his purpose in connection with his organization is accomplished.
