I prefer the original false prophecy charts that Russell would have used to learn his dates. He updated a bit and then tied it to the pyramid. Not a bad attempt to give more proof. Too bad none of it happened anyway. I do wonder though why God did not give the FDS Russell the original plans for a chart? Seems like a few beat him to it. Maybe they are FDS too?

Too bad Lil; right off you can spot an error on this Chart. It says the 69th week ended at the cross. That is wrong, the 69th week ended 3 and 1/2 years before the cross. Messiah was cut off in the middle of the 70th week.

And Russell never connected the Pyramid to the Chart of the Ages in any fashion. He made the Chart long before he learned of the measurements of the Pyramid. Please LIL try to get things straight.

The tenth chapter of the Revelation is about Miller, he took his wall charts into churches and preached over all of the NE United States. He made an error of three years in his calculcation of the 2300 days. Should have started in 454BC. But he started in 457BC and wound up in 1843. Then he made some errors about what the date meant. He decided it was the date of ur Lord's Return to earth; and that the earth was to be cleansed.

It should have been 454BC - 2300 years = 1846AD. The time was not for the Lord's return. It was a date for(the sanctuary) a class of people to be cleansed of the errors of Papacy. But thru his errors Miller drew attention to and interest in the Lord's second advent. There had to be wheat here for the Lord to find when he arrived in 1874. The Bible had been turned loose in 1799 by the King of England. (Rev. 9:14) There were over two hundred million Bibles distributed by 1874. (Rev. 9:16) These were the 200 million horsemen (Bible students in the 19th Century)..

Many people have been disappointed by expectations that failed. The Second and the Seventh Day Adventists groups were the result of Miller's disappointment.

The result of Russell's disappointment have been many groups; the JW's among the largest body. Don't let bitterness ruin your life. Check up on the things you were taught and get them straight in your mind.

Hot Damn! The heretics are really getting stirred up now. Attacking 1`874 as a false date; I missed that debate.

Look here, I'll explain it to you clearly.

The length of God's Rest Day is 7,000 years. During that time, all of Adam's family is born, lives, suffers, dies and is resurrected and judged. Then God stops Resting and takes over.. Satan is released and does the final testing on the human race; and then he and his followers are killed. All that is left on planet earth is a full house of perfect people who love righteousness and God.

The last thousand years of that 7,000 years is the Millennium. That is when Jesus returns to earth and does his great work. 1874AD is the beginning of the Millennium because there is nowhere else to establist the thousand years after that date. Simple?

During the fore part of the Thousand years; a "Time of Trouble" occurs. Read Daniel 12:1-4. A "Time" in symbolic language is 360 years. 1874 plus 360 years = 2234AD. Then the iron rule of Christ's Kingdom begins, 2234AD. The "regeneration" or resurrection of the sinners takes place. (Matthew 19:28) Christ's Kingdom reigns for the next 640 years, until 2874AD. Then Jehovah takes the Kingdom. The Divine Plan will run right on time because God is an exact time keeper.

All these measures can be found in the Great Pyramid or under it in the Subterrreanan Chamber area. The Chart of the Ages that you are making fun of tells the same thing. The dotted line is 2234AD. The Pyramid on the Chart will not be perfect until the end of the Millennium in 2874.

I know about your disappointments but don't lose out on the real understanding because of the past.

Lil, you keep on picking out items to dispute you might accidently learn the truth. It's so picky-picky!

You and Mils make my being here a worthless venture. I think Linda might have listened, she seems to have a hearing ear. Might have helped some to understand something but you spoiled the situation with your grudge against Pastor Russell. Shame. It would have been great to discuss scriptures. I haven't seen Pastor Russell's explanation of Revelation, I think Mils must be speaking of the 7th Volume put out in June 1917 by Rutherford. That was not Russell's explanation.

Aw, Lily I'm sorry; just got carried away with all this fol de rol; I apologie for saying that to you and to all. Lily you answer the call first, you don't join the JWs. The Truth is free for all earnest truth seekers but you have to study the Bible with the aid of Russell's books. And that is no joke. That is the way the Lord has set it up. Do it.

Some people are very hard headed, may be you can hear or have the eye to see; just try it. God is going to train his new employees by this metheod, but if you won't take the training he will not employ you. Simple! People who have Preent Truth are special because of the Truth; they are sanctified, that means set aside for judgment now. Will be judged before they die. The rest of humanity waits til Christ's Kingdom judges them. Just when you were catching on you jumped off the BS FORUM, sad. You should have stayed there. Your grudge against Pastor Russell is wrong, it is Rutherford who screwed up the situation. Think about it.

Sure is more than one doubter on this Forum. How did so many get together? Amazing! I knew Lovely Lil was hunting a home and I guess she found it right here. Lil I don't see the need to give those 45 Bible chronology links here, you people are first class doubters; it would be a lot of work for naught. You are right about one thing, there aren't any Christians on this board, excepting me. You bunch of phonies are fooling yourselves. Yep I'll leave here but not with my tail between my legs. I'll be holding my nose because of the fragrance here. And LIL when you tell a story try to tell the truth, so far your record is not so good.

OK Doubt I'll try but as he said; There are some people who you cannot prove anything to.

Russell gathered truths together and coordinated them to fit prophecy and scriptures. He was learning as he lived, so he had to correct his errors along the way. But he had the basics when he began to publish. He wrote on topics, in his books.

The first was: "Earth's Night of Sin to terminate in a Morning of Joy. He made comments and used scriptures to support what he said. He brought harmony from the Bible and shows a progression of events in the Plan of Salvation. The material he wrote is fascinating, it makes understanding of the Bible plain and enticing to interested parties. He handled many doctrines and explained many errors and false doctrines. He brought truth from the mess Christendom has made of the Bible.

He gave the chronology to show where we are on the stream of time and to pinpoint prohecy being fulfilled. He did make on error, he thought 1914 would wind it up. But before 1914 about 1904 I think; he began to doubt and tried to correct that date's interpretation. He brought out the info a Christian needs at the appropriate time.

Since his death many truths have been cahnged.

He was a wealthy young man, he had lost faith in the Bible. But he was interested in knowing what the truth might be. He had a powerful recall of memory. In the early 1870's he learned many things pertaining to the Bible in his study with a few BS. He was baptized in 1874. Wrote articles for Storr's paper in 1876 and on. Wrote a booklet about Our Lords Return. Then he learned about Barbour's knowledge and decided to give his "ALL" to God and spread the word about Jesus's return to earth in 1874. You probably know of his work thru the rest of his lifetime.

There is no one else who has provided this great amount of truth that is clear and harmonious.

He was born and lived at the specific time needed 1852-1916 to be the one who Jesus mentioned.

Wher did you get The Truth about Hell, from? I got it from Russell's writings.

Where did you learn that , The Earth abideth Forever? Once again I got it from Russell.

Where did you hear of the 144,000? Russell.

Where did you learn of the Great Multitude? Russell again.

Go on and on and realize everything from the Bible that is Present Truth came from the pen of Russell.

Who spent his money ( a fortune) to publish the Truth? Russell.

Who instructed the others what to do ? Russell.

Aho traveled hundreds of thousands of miles and wrote a huge correspondence? Russell.

The man fed the household of faith, "meat in due season".

Why don't you read his books?

Doubt I have never been inside a Kingdom Hall or to a JW meeting.

Back in 1951 their literature said; We don't build a building; we rent a hall to meet in.

In 1953 I saw my first KH in Louisville, it was a Quonset Hut. I said; They lied!

Sorry you have been deceived by them and would like to help. The best help is to take your Bible and read the "Studies in the Scriptures" which Pastor Russell wrote. Find out the truth for yourself.

After all, it is between you and the Lord! No one else unless you resurrect with the sinners into Christ's Kingdom.

Then reread Russels interpretation of Revelation which according to him was written 2000 years ago to describe events happening in the late 1800's in America and all those new fangled inventions such as the steam engine and locomotive. This is the fantasy world of an eccentric pyramidologist.

I didn't know Russell ever interpreted Revelation; may I borrow your copy? And please; Who is Freyda?

Russell was no pyramidologist, he wrote 61 small pages in Volume 3 and barely commented on the Pyramid in the WT. I am happy that he did, cause the Edgar brothers read it and made examinations and measurements and wrote three books on the Pyramid, you really should read them. Also study the Chart of the Ages, it would help your disposition. You should know what you are talking about when you speak. Gossip mills ruin your spiritual health!
