  how to let down a former bible student

  i ran into a now baptized, old bible student of mine yesterday.

  she got my phone number and will be calling me.

  how do i tell her that i no longer want to be affiliated with the religion i taught her for two years?

  i was thinking this morning, that the biggest step towards me being mentally free from wt doctrine, was joining a foreign language congregation.

  i did well w/the language, and even traveled to the country for about a year to pioneer.

  but while out of the u.s., i did very little personal study, prayer, or reading of the wt.

  4/6 = .666. i'm just saying...is 144,000 really such a holy number?

  i'm curious ~ has anyone noticed how young elders are these days?

  in my old congregation, 6 of our 8 elders were under the age of 30, one of them 23, unmarried.

  the father being the p.o...ironically.

  i have a question, for any ex-elders, ex-co's, po's, etc...what is the process when someone is da'ed or df'ed w/o an actual jc.

  Strangers in my personal space!

  has anyone noticed how elders rarely take the time to get to know you, but then they think you should be comfortable sitting in a room w/three of them, revealing all the "dirty" things you did, which makes you in need of repentance and forgiveness?

  it's perverted, really.

  i've never gone through this, nor will i. these people teach that jesus is the mediator to jehovah, yet they readily take that place when it comes to collecting details.
