i think this is promising (fingers crossed) since a number of doctors have been investigating the link between inflammation and dementia.. dementia drug instant hit claim an excess of tumour necrosis factor-alpha may cause alzheimer'sus scientists claim a drug can reverse some of the early symptoms of alzheimer's disease - with the first effects seen within 10 minutes.. the journal of neuroinflammation reports how the memory of an 81-year-old man improved sharply after etanercept was injected into his spine.
but uk experts warned that a single success did not prove that the drug would work for every dementia patient.

My Favorite Songs of 2004
by Leolaia inevery year since 1991 i have been making my own "mix-tape" (since 1998, my own "mix-tape" cd) of my favorite songs of the year.
i have just completed my cd for 2004. one of the real pleasures of doing this is finding the right track order to make the styles of the songs flow smoothly from one to another, while keeping some semblance of the chronological progression of the year.
i thought it might be interesting to post my list and see if anyone else has their own similar list for the past year:.

So Yesterday - My wife and I had just split up and this reminded me to move on.
Come Clean - I find this song very motivational from a creative standpoint.
Why Not - I need to be reminded to take a chance from time to time.

Or maybe you're finally comfortable with your past. For the longest time, I wouldn't tell anyone that I had been a JW. The shame was too much. But now that I realize that I was duped, that it isn't a major defect in my character, I talk about it whenever appropriate.

I don't know if I justify my actions to anyone anymore, but if I do, I guess it would be myself.

- '90 - missed but started back to meetings the Sunday afterword
- '91 - it was all about me that year, pioneer, ms, working the seldom worked territory, oh yeah, I was on fire
- '92 - made it, but was publicly reproved for smoking - yikes, what a difference a year makes
- '93 - memori-what?
- '94 - sinners need not attend. I'm a sinner
- '95 - my lifestyle wasn't approved. I stayed home
- '96 - I was too busy living life
- '97 - I married a worldly girl instead
- '98 - I think I was in Marin County, installing computers
- '99 - I not only attended, but I helped install a new commode the week before
- '00 - Oh yeah, dicktator Tom was there.
- '01 - I'm pretty sure this was my last one.

- '04 - moved back to minnesota - the cult simmering, but almost forgotten
- '05 - I was too busy falling in love with someone who didn't want me. Awwwwwwwww....

- '07 - What the hell is it about the month April and me falling for someone with a sad story?
