A truly creepy 2007 public talk by Ciro Aulicino - You Will Be With Me in Paradise
by Tatiana ini searched for this here and didn't find any posts about it.
i just found this while searching for info as i was debating a jw on another site.
this is the most mind-blowing, spaced-out, insane bunch of mess i've ever heard.

For those who say, it is fabricated, I'll say they need to wake up. I mentioned on another post, that I too, heard a similar talk more than 10 years ago, it made my skin crawled, and I believe that is when it all started for me. Besides it is posted in a witness friendly website, not an "apostate" one.
Someone in another post said he/she was able to listen to an hour and a half of it. How did you do it? I couldn't bring myself to listen to more than 5 minutes. Can you share what else he said that was as outrageous as the beginning?

I believe it. I heard a similar talk years ago. I cannot believe they would go so graphic in these talks. That is FEAR FACTOR in all its might. I would not let my children hear such a talk. It is nauseating. PUKE AGAIN.

Wait until the video finishes and highlight the related videos at the bottom. If not go directly to youtube and on the right hand side it will tell you the name of the video and what part is it.

Just when you think there can't be anymore control over the members of the congregation this comes along. I know that is always been like this, but the tone of this article was more direct. "You are planning on getting married, you better start telling about your "moral conduct" because it is my reputation as an elder what's in jeopardy." WHATEVER. I can spit.

The brother chosen to give the wedding talk will meet beforehand with the prospective bridegroom and bride to offer helpful advice and to be sure that there are no moral or legal impediments to the marriage and that he is in accord with the plans for any social gathering to follow.
An elder who is asked to officiate will probably meet beforehand with the prospective bride and groom. They will, naturally, want to assure him that there are no moral or legal impediments to their marrying
New Kingdom Ministry: "He will meet with the couple to inquire about their moral conduct during courtship; the couple will want to be open and honest with him."
Did you notice the tone in which it is written? The previous two were more indirect, less harsh. This last one was written in a tone like: "The elder will sit down with you to ask you whether you had sex or have touched each other in inapropriate ways; and you better be open and honest with him, or else."

Tell me brother groom: "Did you guys did it?" How was she dressed? Who started it? Where you laying down, in the kitchen, in bed? Was she on top? Did you touch her titties? Did she touch you?
Yeah right!!! Before making arrangements to marry at the KH you better confess fornication, and be disfellowshiped.

Disfellowshiped Last Night - Elder Question
by johnnyc ini know some of you know me by my posts...as someone very much on the "fence".
recently, i had made an effort to start coming back to meetings after being inactive for 2+ years.
during that time, i did have a prescription drug problem following an injury.

JohnnyC:
I have been inactive for 21/2 years. I don't consider myself a witness any longer either. However, I am concerned that you are here and attending meetings, and "confessing" your sins. You have a problem and that is obvious, but what is the reason for you to be here, and still wanting to go to the elders and confess what you did? I agree with SnakesInTheTower on his counsel to you. What do you want to do? You either want to be a Witness or you don't. By being here, you show you don't feel is the truth, or the religion is just not for you. You have doubts, and you can't be a Wintess if you have doubts.
If you don't want to be a Witness anymore, then do what Snakes told you, appeal, give them a lesson and don't go anymore. If you no longer care for the Organization, then why appeal? Take care of your problem and do it for you, not because you have to or else they will disfellowship you. If you went farther than just using prescription medications to satisfy your need of them using illegal methods, and you are ready to stop, just take care of that on your own. Go to a psychologist and start fresh. But don't tell the elders everything, look where it got you.
I smoke, but if I ever want to go back, IF, I wouldn't tell them I used to smoke, I will just stop and start attending meetings, but I am not going to make my return by confessing all my little sins. Please no replies as to my smoking, I'll appreciate it. Thank you.
So decide first what you want to do about your JW standing. If your intention is to start over and go back, you should stop coming here. If you don't want to continue, then look for help for your problem, appeal and continue with your life outside the Org.
