  back when i was a jw i saw many people df'd because of smoking.

  it was probably the second most common reason aside from fornication and adultrey.

  i can't tell you how many brothers and sisters i knew in my cong.

  my reaction: shock and awe (tm).

  i was an elder and had just left bethel.

  i didn't want to believe what i was reading especially from current and former elders.

  Wow for me I was in somewhat shock, I have Randall Watters book that i bought abt 13 yrs ago from a guest spkr at my church, but reading the testimonies of everyone, the pain the WT causes, makes it more of a reality. My sis was a jdub for 25 yrs( now ex-jw), but never carried on like such with her siblings and homies ( may I say). However, she was a lil judgmental, but who isnt at times. For the most part I'm grateful to JWD for it helps me to understand alot my husband is going thru being he studies with them. There has been a lil more Peace in our home since I found this site. Thanks to all that contribute!!!

  Is the shunning over???

  my sister (e) has been shunning me for 5 years this past november.

  it all started when i began to have doubts and she tried to "reason" with me from the scriptures.

  but all that would end up happening is that i would make her have doubts (hmmmm, wonder why).. anyway, i felt a great loss when she stopped talking to me.

  Wow! That reminds me of a Mary and Martha situation with me and my Ex-JW sis..and we were ready to fight and my mom said u2 arent acting like christians and she came out the room...we hugged and cried begging each other for forgiveness and confessing our love for 1 another....and she too at the time cldnt talk religion with me cuz of the WT doctrine...but I thank God, for the seeds he allowed me to plant and the unconditional love I had for her..she is now EX.....so I encourage you to keep sowing yr seeds..Ecclesiates 11:6.

  Too tired to argue

  my sons funeral was a few days ago and i am the pariah.

  i just want to give up.

  It's a boy!!

  my wife gave birth to a baby boy this afternoon!

  he doesn't have a name yet so any suggestions?

  for all those that care (seems only women do) he is 10 points even and over 22" long.

  I Deeply mourn your loss, as I lost my mom 10/10/06. Prayer was the ONLY thing that got me thru and the scripture Ephesians 6:12...because alot of emotions can surface during a time as such from sibblings and the like...so stayed prayed up...My prayeds are for you and your family....evette

  Can someone instruct me on how to copy and paste a quote...plzzzzzzz. Rebirth, are we married to the same man? cuz thats all I hear from my husband, I go out but I dont drink....I had a beer saturday nite (mind you I sat in the car while doing so ) and my goodness I was ev'thing but a child of God, and me being a christian didnt help matters( and I really dont drink, but just had a taste for a beer), always calls me evil with such hate, when the most important thing is to LOVE!!! So I say Fruck'em and feed him catfish. I will continue to pray for the scales to be removed!!! Continue to Love him Unconditionally!!
