I agree, I'm afraid. The music was very amateur and irritating; it was just like other religious-type music that has no real melody and is simply a statement on bad things in the world. If I was him I'd find another vocation.

Barbara Anderson is on NBC Nightly News Tonight 11/21/07
by AndersonsInfo ina producer with nbc in new york called within the past hour to tell me that the segment i interviewed for (once in nashville, tn in august and once in washington, dc in october) is set to air tonight on nbc nightly news with brian williams, that is, if no huge calamity takes place to bump the feature.
this piece will be two minutes and 45 seconds long, the longest slot nightly news has for topics of interest, and will feature a discussion about the court documents that are found on the cd i recently produced, "secrets of pedophilia in an american religion, jehovah's witnesses in crisis.
in addition, nbc's internet site, msn, will follow with a detailed story.

Fabulous thread- classical music is a passion of mine. I have to listen to Chopin whenever I'm working on an essay. It's so relaxing. I adore the 19th Nocturne in E minor, and also Nocturne no.1 in B flat major. Both are just stunning.
Recently I downloaded Fingal's cave, as it is used on an advert for washing powder over here in England. My all time favourite pieces must also include the third movement from Mozart's Clarinet Concerto, and Strauss's 'On the Beautiful Blue Danube.'
But Chopin every time. Without a doubt. If anyone knows o any exceptionally good recordings of Chopin, please let me know.
Great thread, I just wish I had thought of it myself!!! -

I find this story unusual and I actually hope it's not true, for your sake and for the sake of the rest of those in the congregation. I believe there is more to this story.
Or, I smell a troll.
Er, Trevor, is that you??

Gill- you're wrong, I'm not a witness. And my thread was about the sadness I feel for the way far too many threads have been dedicated to this one news story. I'm trying to see it from both sides and am also attempting (although obviously not very successfully) to highlight that this forum contains too much gleeful pouncing on any witness sensationalism. We do not know all the facts.

Are there things you can't get rid of?
by faundy infor instance, i still can't bring myself to say 'bless you' when someone sneezes.
i still cringe when saying 'good luck' and even now i feel i am being really naughty when shopping for a birthday card for someone.

I agree with the thing about the books, and have still got most of my library. This isn't because I want to look at them, rather that I actually don't want to throw any books away; I love books and to throw any book away is very difficult for me- they sit in a box under my bed until I can decide what to do with them. I got rid of magazines and KMs, etc, but the main books I have kept.

BA, smart-ass comments (or attempts at them) get tiresome after a while, you know.
