by Mary inas i mentioned before in another thread, my dub aunt, along with several other witnesses, told me that they were specifically told that the governing body let it be known that tract work would trigger the beginning of the end by infuriating the other religions and somehow causing the governments to "turn on babylon the great".
this was supposed to start before the end of this year.
one thing i mentioned is that they were smart enough this time, not to put anything down in writing, but simply let it get around by "word of mouth".

Any tips on successfully fading?
by unhappy ini know it's already been discussed a bit on the board but i just wanted some advice.
i've been fading for a little while and my problem is this how does one fade successfully without getting caught out or hasselled non stop.
the funny thing is i do actually have all the medical prolems that were mentioned in a previous thread (chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, migraines and that's just for starters) but i've had these for years and have still kept on going to the meetings regularly, i even pioneered, which i now realize was absolute madness.

Easy really , this is what i did , start missing a lot of meetings and quit answering during the first month, then start not turning up for your talks, stop going to the book study at all, you will be deleted from it, then start going home after the public talk don't stay for the WT study. Slowly stop going to the Thursday meeting ,report minimum hours for the next 3 months and then stop reporting, do not accept any visits by elders, and hey presto you will be faded!

Your favourite place....
by diamondblue1974 indo you have a favourite place in the world...if so where is it, why and do you have photos?.
mine has to be nisyros (a very small greek island near kos); i last visited there some years ago and ever since i was captivated by its beauty and tranquility.
in short its a volcanic island but unspoiled by tourism; the people are amazing and so down to earth.. take a look.

JW dress fads
by rassillon ini was just looking at the revelation book and some of the illustrations reminded me of some of the dress fads which i have seen growing up as a jw.
what fads did you see at the halls?.
the one that got me to thinking was the sun dress on page 51. .
