"The Third" is a reminder to any that keep re-searching for truth. It was after the death of John (baptizer) that Jesus told his followers that they are to expect another that would RESTORE ALL THINGS. John didnt do that. He was already dead. Jesus spoke with Elijah and Moses on the mount just before his arrest and murder. Yet Jesus said that John was the Elijah to come. THEN added that "indeed elijah is comming, and will restore all things". There are other prophesy's that John never fulfilled that the next Elijah would. Yes, there is more to this, but if you check it out you should see what I mean. Many false prophets are come, but never the less, ONE of those that come will be the real one that is gifted with the power and spirit like Elijah's. What do you think?

It seems that I have read that the maters of judgement are to be brought before Holy Ones (Anointed) Not worldly courts. Then WHY have the WTBTS given this authority over to those with out the Anointing? Those that are not gifted with the Spirit to judge? Then they do it behind closed doors! Dosn't it say it is to be brought before the entire group (congregation)?
If what is written is REALLY followed and APPLIED we would have true justice and judgement. Not "kangaroo courts". But then there arn't many of the "old" Anointed left are there,,,, and there arn't any newly Anointed are there? *grins mischieviously*

As you can see I added a passage that is of intrest to most that have not read the book of 2nd Esdras (wasn't tossed out of the protestant versions till the 1850's there abouts in the US) You are very correct in that the added knowledge has greatly influenced my understanding. The Spirit ( an inteligent force of some kind, with a great atitude)helps identify that which is of value. Having "moved beyond christianity" for me is to have understanding of what this Anointing / Calling is all about. What the JW's were given to know by the letters of their Anointed is how you all learned those truths that is unique to that "religion". What they failed to realise in the later decades were the other Anointed that were being given the Calling as PART OF THE HEARVEST, the 144K being ONLY THE FIRST FRUITS!! The view of the bible that I have is that it is a true history, true current events, and true destiny of mankind. But yah did a pretty good speculation and sumation I would say. *grins*

Hey, what can be said, been down this road myself, or at least most of it. The truth is revealed when you need it most. Your trust (faith) has brought you this far. Remember the Jews had a government from YHWH, NOT a religion. They turned it into a religion and Jesus condemned them for this! You may want to look at it from a more 21st century view also. Besides, it was only a test of your integrity and trust. Your willingness to abandon all else to really go out and find what truth you could. I do see much understanding in these threads. Great wisdom has been given to those that prove worthy and responsible.
