  Thank you SOOOOOOOO much to all my new Dallas/Fort Worth friends you were KEY to the success of this apostafest.

  I didn't knew any of you personally and now I consider you my friends...

  Besides the people you mentioned XW... I woul PERSONALLY like to thank:

  Moreisbetter, who I met for the fist time when she picked me up at the airport... and then got lost together trying to get to the hotel... thank you so much... Thank you Roo for taking me to the aiport and for being a firend... Thanks Valis and Liz for the Mexican food your hospitality and all the other little perks that you provided for the enjoyment and success of the A-Fest... Six... thanks for the ride... DFW thanks for providing your art... the stickers... and the magnets...

  Animal... thanks for being a leader... with the fund raiser and for providing the Head quarters for the Apostafest.

  Thank you XenaWarrior for your help on planning and booking of the hotel.

  There are many more people to thank and I will ALWAYS be grateful to you...

  I liked you when I met you... and I have to admit I was a little surprised by your post... by the same token I have to respect a man that comes forward and makes a public apology... It's all good brother... I hope that after the dust settles no one would talk about this anymore.

  I'm disfellowshipped, and I will partake at the Memorial.................

  well, nisan 14 is rolling around again, and i am going to partake at the memorial.. when i was a goodstanding jw last year, i really thought of the relationship i had with the christ, and partook, and they all had a cow.

  but i had a good standing, so they pretty much left me alone.... well, surprise!!

  i am now disfellowshipped, and some inner voice tells me to go back there one last time and partake, i am not doing this to be a pain, but to show the new congregation that i had belonged to, who i am, and to give others the courage to examine themselves, and their personal relationship with the christ.. i believe disfellowshipping is unscriptural, so i am confidant!!

  bttt - don't be rude!

  lmao... something just occured to me.... for the longest time i thought that "bttt" was the spelling for a rude sound made with the mouth.

  i kept seeing it in the sex abuse threads and thinking, "that is so rude... why is that person doing that on such an important thread?".

  then i saw someone use the phrase "bump to the top" and it all suddenly made sence!

  As some had already posted... I think you made the right decision by not fighting it anymore... I mean, you will NEVER stop fighting what you believe in... but just letting things BE will help you find happines within and by your actions you will give your mother and a lot of other people a valuable lesson in LOVE and how people really should be treated.

  Take care and know you can always come here and vent if you need to do so...

  i was a hot shot jw at one time, one of the few that enjoyed 90% acceptance from my audience.

  well, i called jw hq today.

  in the conversations that i had with the elders that were privy to the details of my daughter's molestation case, they assured me that they "had been in contact w/ hq.

  " now either this is total bs, or the society directed them to not go to the law, as required.

  New to the Site

  hi all,,just found the site the other day and was quiet amazed, shocked and saddened all at once.

  i guess thats expected when the wts organisation is run by humans, not abiding in various cases to the bible teaching.. its hearting to seen that so-called witnesses would treat their own/people is such manner as brought out on this site, to me they are not witnesses to jehovah, my family have gone through similar experiences where elders sought to make a mess out of nothing and cause grief to us that was not needed resulted in a dissoiation from the wts.. my family is now living the way they want to and not reflecting back on what occured there, i sleep easy at night knowing that thoses misleading will be judged and all have to render account to god.

  i belive in the bible and even tho the wts screwed up on numerous accounts they still have the truth, other than other religions i know and looked in to.

  This is very true... as MANY of us have experienced.

  I still don't understand as Shera mentioned why while you are acknowledging their ERRORS you still say:

  I belive in the bible and even tho the WTS screwed up on numerous accounts they still have the truth

  Anyway... I really hope you can keep reading, researching and posting...
