Another thing that may be helpful is to see to it that your clothing does not unnecessarily cause friction with the sexual organs"
Why the men wear the pants in the family?
it was in some book for young people that i found going through the watchtower library when i was doing research for old publications, i cannot believe this lunacy, i feel so bad for the teenagers at the time who had to try to take this seriously, but they’re not a high control religion or cult though, anyways here is is : .
if you sleep in a room alone and you find that you seem to feel special stress in this direction at night, you may be able to arrange matters to share a room with another member of your family.
also, you may find it helpful to sleep on your side rather than on your back or face down.. 18 another thing that may be helpful is to see to it that your clothing does not unnecessarily cause friction with the sexual organs.

i have read countless times in this site and others that there is speculation that someone high up in the watchtower world required an organ transplant, and then because of that, their position that they had held since 1967 changed in 1980.i believe i have found a clue to who that person might have been.
i leave it to the exjw community to investigate further, but it's tantalizing!it is waay too much of a coincidence that:lee cordaway got a phone call in january 1980 that his kidneys were failing.
lee was 18 years old at the time.watchtower printed its "organ transplants are allowed now" article in march 1980.. january 1981: lee goes into the organ donor list for new kidneys.august 1981: lee receives his new kidney.september 1981: lee's new kidney is rejected, he has to have it removed.
I am RH-. All of my seven children are RH+
My last two children were born after l was baptized in 1988. I remember that l had a sinking feeling about the WT’s views on blood and fractions as l received my Rhogam injections post delivery of my babies. Deep down l knew l did not want to know if l was blood guilty for accepting treatment. I didn’t ask and l didn’t tell “the friends”about my blood problem.
I cultivated a conscious ignorance of fractions because l reasoned that there was a slight transfer of blood between the mother and child in utero already. I figured God could deal with my dilemma in secret since he saw fit to let blood get so mixed up inside me to begin with.
Silly and sad. Life depends on these stupid rules the WT cult makes.
well, i offered in one of his threads to have him on the show and posters seemed excited at the possibility and we got it done so now you can hear from the man himself on the newest episode of "shunned".
one of our very own stepped up to tell his story, well, aside from myself of course.
it was great getting to actually speak with him.. this is my first international interview for the podcast.
Islam disfellowships are fatal as l understand.
disfellowshipped.... a jehovah's witness movie.
enjoy!.

Definitely raised my anxiety level. This put me back into that old Sunday morning head space of unnamed dread.
I am so freakin glad l am out.

Every story has its own flavor. Mark has a certain grounding that makes his account come through as a fair report. He speaks without self-defensive bias or bitter judgement on others. His gentle acceptance of normal human behavior is the more damning of a religion that molds the young into hypocrites yet shuns the honest ones, It was hilarious that he researched into Catholic encyclopedias!
As a side note: the quote from the Gospel of Thomas reveals that such a view of the spiritual value of the women reflects the origins of the deep misogyny that was a foundation of those times and throughout Christianity. When I first read the gospel of Thomas I was actually touched that Jesus stuck up for Mary. It is a sad state of affairs that his defense would have to devalue Mary’s womanhood by playing into the narrative that making her a ‘man’ would make her worthy of spiritual reward.
Btw, thank you Mark for your kind words for women! All the best. I very much appreciate your story.
I love your interviews, Dubstepped.
tommie robinson has reported often about what he sees as the demise of british society by the imposition of 'sharia' norms.. https://www.infowars.com/update-tommy-robinson-gets-13-months-for-livestreaming-outside-courthouse/?utm_source=nightly+newsletter&utm_campaign=9e3ceb30f6-email_campaign_2018_05_25_03_10&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_e12661a83c-9e3ceb30f6-38680565.
yesterday he was jailed for 13 months for reporting outside a court in the uk.
his was a non violent offence.. what no community service?
The only good Muslim is a bad Muslim.—Mean Mister Mustard
This is a brilliantly sardonic word mirror. It depends on who is speaking to determine what good means and what bad means. Religions argue this stuff forever. But that quote is great lol.
For a unified population the criteria for a good Muslim must be set by state law .The separation of church and state is a western value. If a Muslim sticks to the idea of Islamic State or sharia law dominating then the state cannot support their presence. I don’t see how anyway.
But there is a lively debate about what Islam —among Muslims. I submit tthat Christians have conflicts about who has the Truth as well:
” Why don’t you go back to being a Catholic? Then you could do whatever you wanted.” —My husband as l prepared for JW baptism said this. Islam and Christianity have different people within them with widely differing views of what a true belief looks like.
Bandicoot—l very much like that you posted those verses from the Quran, Just as poster Wonderment and other scholars pick through language and intention in the Christian scriptures so there are disputes even about the indisputable meaning of these verses, bandicoot. I could post the arguments Islamic scholars make against the ugly implications of those above verses. But it wouldn’t help us.The fact is that as long as any Muslims follow the creepy violence and the misogyny of that Islam then it is an unacceptable cancer. For sure.
Some cancers are best treated with radiation, islam is one such cancer.—Bandicoot
Ss you say, some cancers must be treated with radiation. Radiation targets the tumor and though the surrounding body suffers collateral damage, one accepts the harms because the person gets to go on living.
Every community has to find ways for religions to not become cancerous growths feeding on the main body while destroying it. I believe Western democracies can deal with the cancer of Muslim extremist if they NOWname the features that are destructive to the ‘body’ of western values and outlaw those expressions of religion, in fact any religion. Lately wasn’t it France and Belgium that outlawed the hijab? And a great many Muslims rejoiced at the freedom it allows.
Of course ignoring a problem is a well known phenomenon. Five years ago I was diagnosed with a fairly advanced case of anal canal cancer. l can attest to the amazing power of a person to rationalize and dismiss the most glaring evidence that SOME THING IS WRONG .Afraid of dealing with it a person can let such a problem grow until nothing -not even radical surgery can remove it. But l did finally drag my ass in for help before it was too late .There was and is collateral damage from the chemo and radiation but l am alive.
Law must be the “radiation “ targeting the sick portions of religious communities , Islam especially.
zeb—that MP Lord Pearson is actively involved for Tommy’s safety. He seems a good channel.

Ruby,I appreciate your conversation with me on this. I see that he is hooligan but I know a lot of hooligans. Tommy is thinking and he is dealing with a real problem in the way natural to him. If you get a chance to look at the video of his conversation with Lord Pearson I think you will see the best of him. At the same time Lord Pearson tells him he’s a pretty naughty boy. The problem is that Tom is the flashpoint the lightning rod for things that should have been talked about a long time ago. It is concerning that he has a following that like himself are not used to resolving issues by outlining problems and then going hard at solutions. They get angry and seem to become aggressive. With no experience of community building he can only do part of the work: he is forcing the issue. But he must work with others like Lord Pearson who is bold like Tommy— but wiser. Pearson knows this business will go to violence if it is simply ignored.
Tommy seems a bit of a loose canon , good hearted but loose . But my sense is that he would be reasonable if he saw Parliament get serious about the need for frank dialogue and action. I hope he would not just want a fight.
Presently I am watching how Britain translates their right/left conversations into processes that can change the snafu that it and Europe is heading for with immigrants.
We are having problems in the US not so much with Islam at present . That may come but we are not as immigrant-saturated as the U.K.. In my opinion the United States is still dealing with a long-standing failure to work for assimilation with the children of African-American slaves. And we are reaping the whirlwind now. We don’t have a way to converse honestly. And the PC culture may have something to do with it.it is confusing.
I am watching Britain. So glad for you to be here.
I’ve thought of making a thread about the horror of prison life if you are white and thrown in with people who truly have been profiled thrown away.( prison is not a good place for Tommy. Not every Mudlim will feel open to him there l sm sure. Prisons are not character-building for men and women )
honest unflinching dialogue must happened we hope for people to live in peace

Above is an update from a spokesman for Lord Pearson MP who has written a strong letter to authorities on account of Tommy Robinson (Pearson is the MP who has pushed for open discussions with Muslims on what Islam is and is not)
If you have questions or concerns this fellow gives advice to the public to contact your MP about it.
pardon me if this is old news to every on the board. I am watching to see how this business goes. I hope it settles into the open conversations that will allow for actions other than violent explosions.
Sure you do, Scratchme. You just need to find your funny bone.
maybe I have sawdust in my brain but l got to laughing at Sparrow’s post somewhere else and fell on this....l think it’s about human having the rigjts to be free to laugh at ourselves —just nonsense.
one of this things that constantly reminds me of the extent and the reach the organization has into our lives, is the fact we all need pseudonyms to have a conversation or to make a comment in this even here in this place.
even when people have left the society (by however it has occurred), its rare to see somebody change their online presence to their personal name.. now i'm not expecting people to do that of course, fore we are all free to do what we like (which is the real beauty of this forum) but the fact that it doesn't occur that often, shows how much we've all been effected by being told over and over again, "not to be critical of god's organization".
of course there could be an number so side issues at play here; with some people not wanting to burn their bridges in an attempt to keep what reputation they have left intact and sadly a small minority others, do enjoy the anonymity to just talk trash ... but if a person can not feel free to stand up and respectfully make a critical comment or ask a thorny question without fear of repercussion from their religion, then doesn't it show that there is no real freedom in that faith.
There can be repercussions to our reputations by putting our name out here. But it is true that:
if a person can not feel free to stand up and respectfully make a critical comment or ask a thorny question without fear of repercussion from their religion, then doesn't it show that there is no real freedom in that faith.
And in regard to the JWs that is absolutely true. Those who are in the shadows of course have that burden you mention above.
But for some of us as we gingerly move into our new frontiers away from the negative WT are changing a bit —maybe even metamorphing into winged creatures— and are tender about ourselves. And we have been injured. also it is easier to confide some of the tough things in our lives if we do not feel too exposed.
Another issue that comes into pay is the old narratives we can loose by leaving our name outside. Some may just want a fresh page to write on.
This is a good thing to reflect on.
