In the spirit of honesty l see that Abaddon is reading and responding fairly, adjusting some points and holding better defined ground. I agree with his last post but for one part.
Tommy Robinson’s behavior must be given consideration as much as any young working class Muslim who is concerned by the crude prejudices toward himself by the likes of ...the EDL. The authorities have been weak in addressing problems in the immigrant and poor working class neighborhoods. Tommy’s tactics and his want of any overarching strategy may be deplored but they are understandable. In a sense we are reduced to arguing about Tommy’s soul or motivation.
There isn’t anything more l personally can say about Tommy. He must be protected in custody though.
I am not in the U K. so my comments might seem impertinent . But only weeks ago the US had its immigrants-at-the-border-children-taken drama. The board jsuffered through the word welter that triggered. And we have Race threads that generally have to do with legacies of slavery culture.
l suggest a better way to approach solutions these problems is not head on- but SIDEWAYS.
Here is a Pakistani man. A Muslim. His story is how to effect change in a culture that crushes human rights.
I apologize if this link and my comments seems irrelevant. But sometimes the point of a discussion isn’t fully realized in the OP Sometimes the thread develops branches that need a chance to grow. Abandon-This is too important to a point not to be addressed.
You can see from your own post on the darkness of Christianity. There was the 30 Years War that should inform us of the terror of religious divides and their existence. Read Fox’s Book of Martyrs. It will give a person the creeps.
Muslims acknowledge a divide. There is Wahhabism and salafists. The Sunnis and Shias.
I believe standards of behavior—LAW—can shape our communities. But there are many sympathetic to the troubles within Muslim communities who know that education and focused efforts to assistance assimilation must come.
Attention is needed to avoid violence .
(A little off topic are the gangs that are growing in American cities. There are similarities in the multiple ways that must be enacted to deal with this human problem. We have tried to incarcerate our way out of it and it isn’t working.)

let us take the only two cases of miracles jesus performed without any request from anybody which would show the very purpose of his ministry:.

That used to bother me too. I bought the Bible’s patriarchal version for years.
Lot was too afraid to live in town after his wife turned to salt and his would-be sons -in-law got burnt up. So he moved into a cave with his two young women.
The story goes that they got him liquored up, seduced him so they could have babies who later turned out to be delinquents, Ammon and Edom l think.
Then I saw the story was the age old blame -the -victims- to -save -the- man’s honor scenario. Typical middle eastern patriarchal BS.
Here’s what went down more than likely.
. He got drunk .( What -he sent them to the package store? I guess he wasn’t that afraid of town.) Remember, these were very young marriageable girls isolated from other folks. So— probably more than once he got drunk— but not too drunk and ad often as that molested the girls til they had babies.
The story of Lot stops after that.
I am sure those girl’s could have found husbands as good as the ones they had lost if Lot weren’t such a wreck of a man.
Their dad was just a bad Lot.

1st Birthday Celebration

I am so happy to hear this.
It seem nuts that these lovely memories generated in these sweet celebrations were outlawed .
When l was faithfully not celebrating l felt the urgent need to do at least this: l would take each child on their birthday and tell them all l could recall of their day of birth. Relevant and irrelevant were important. I was so aware that my children arrived that day. And so glad they came to us. Every joy should be celebrated
It seems so right to have these moments, doesn’t it? Good for you that your children will have special love and innocent recognition— what harm?
