37Somebody hurt my baby! :S
by Elsewhere inonce again someone hurt nancy, my little mini cooper.
this time they popped the front driver side window, broke it all out, stole my tomtom gps, ripped apart the center console and tore up the 12 volt plug while ripping the gps power cable out.
the police came out and did the whole fingerprint thing and got a few bits and pieces of some prints, but we won't know if anything will come of it.

Flooding Imminent

they're calling for boats to rescue the home-bound.
they're closing the local freeway, too!

I live 30 miles northeast at 900' elevation so there is no flooding. The ambulance station in Centralia had 4" of water in it and there still is no road access to and from it. The crews that were on duty Sun evening are still there stranded. All of that water will be heading towards the coastal cities of Aberdeen and Hoquiam. Both towns have no power and bad wind damage and will now have flooding to deal with.

My wife works in Centralia and she cannot get to her ambulance station. We are watching one of her co-worker's son because he has been stranded there since Sun eve.

Nog freak here also. I like Wilcox Farms since they put more spice in it. It works as a great coffee creamer or with scotch or spiced rum. They should sell it year round.

It's now changing between freeezing rain and snow. My wife is a paramedic and is working tonight, she just called to tell me they are on thier 14th car accident and she still has two more hrs left on her shift.

The snow here is western WA is very wet and because we have so many hills it is a traffic nightmare as Jefft mentioned. So many people living here are from states that never get snow and that just compounds the mess.

I have a lady friend living in Stielacoom, she says it never snows there. Are you near Stielacoom?
I live about 25 miles east of Stielacoom right at the base of the Bald Hills.
The Weather Channel was predicting alot of snow across the country today so I fiqured quite a few here would have had some.

It just changed over to freeezing rain now. My daughter will have to go sledding tonight in the dark.
I don't mind it and I get a kick out of how hyper my daughter gets when it does snow.
