i've been on the board for quite a while now and was wondering, what do my fellow jwdr's do for work, employment or career?

ok, the lemonade thread has prompted me to ask does anyone else have any clever and legal ways to pinch pennies, like the guy did with the lemonade?.
.
any other things you have seen?
I roast my own coffee and do not buy it from any stands. I save around $3000 per year and end up with better coffee.
This last six months I started using Mobil 1 oil since I change my own oil but do not enjoy it. I am now getting and extra 4 MPG and considering I drive 60 mi. a day that adds up fast. Mobil does not even advertise that oil as fuel saving.
Most of all the internet has saved me thousands of dollars by being able to shop around the country and not just my local towns.
I buy my beef from a local rancher for $1.20 a Lbs. Not only do I save money but I get better quality w/o hormones, antbiotics, pesticides and dyes in it.
I went to CNet's download.com and all of the Firefox downloads had thier own tool bars and some other stuff I did not want running.

Anybody like Monty Python?
I am also a huge Monty Python fan. Unfortunately most of my friends don't get it so I can't really use some of the bits on them when joking around. It seems anything more sophisticated then Jay Leno jokes just whiz by them.
Where is a good place to download Firefox w/o all the tool bars and commercial garbage?

No.
i'd have to say mine was when i was at the wee age of 8.. my siblings and i were out swimming with some friends and their parents.
what i remember mostly was that i got seperated very quickly from the rest of the group and drifted into the deeper end.
i found it getting more and more difficult to swim with each passing second.
Having four wood splinters smashed into my cornea and not being able to see out of it for over two weeks. Only having one working eye was some scary stuff and I could not drive and had alot of collisions around the house. That little accident was very sobering how fast your life can change.
if i could understand what they're saying in some of the new pop music, maybe i wouldn't have to listen to the oldies but goodies stations so much.
this song made me have to change stations though: dan hill's "sometimes when we touch".
"sometimes when we touch the honesty's too much....blah, blah, blah.
Anything by Lionel Ritchie.
i seem to be "stuck" in between worlds.
the world i knew and the world i'm trying to know and learn.. are there others that feel this too?
do you ever remember feeling this way at any point?.
After I left was the first time I felt normal.
