Why do I suddenly want to start reading JW literature and going to Kingdom Halls?
by yogosans14 inis good calling me back or am i just letting my emotions get the best of me?also i really want to be closer to my jw family.
btw i was never baptized and i consider myself a born again christian i go to a baptist church and wath televangelist and i have expirenced gods presence like never before but sometimes i get fearful and think "what if jws are right and i'm wrong" than i'm screwed!but if there wrong and i'm right it doesn't look to good for them.. i would prefer if nobody posted "god isn't real" type comments.
i truly believe he is real but i respect why some are atheists..

Wife fully awake.
by cappytan ini learned this past week that my wife is now awake.
i just shared the pbs newshour segment with her with no comment other than something along the lines of, "jw story on pbs.".
she is furious at the arrogance of these men.. thats what happens when you get a momma angry!.

Awesome news Cappytan. You did a fine job of leaving subtle hints and un-witnessing relentlessly. I'm glad she's okay with the fact that you yourself are awake. I hope the transition from her own droggy "awakeness" to being a full fledged, wide awake, educated ex-jw is a smooth one. -

Cofly, if you're using Chrome, hit Control and N. It opens up an incognito window that doesn't rely on cookies, etc. Call it and untraceable "clean" window. Well worth a try. -

KH 1st timer, could use some advice

i am soon going into a kh for the first time and i could use some advice around etiquette etc.
i know next to nothing besides the fundamental beliefs of jws, i personally dont believe in any religion, and that stance isnt ever going to change, however i don't want to come across as rude or disrespectful.

by Esse quam videri inthe watchtower 'masturbation' video has caused quit a fuss and imo rightly so.
let me relate an experience that took place almost 40 years ago, in the 1970's.. i was translating for several families who attended our hall from outside the territory.
the reason they came to our congregation is that i was the only one in the area willing to exert myself to learn the american sign language.
