  new, nowhere to turn, ashamed & afraid

  hullo everybody i'm new here, even though i've been lurking now for several months.. i have to say how afraid i am to post, afraid and ashamed but i feel if i dont tell my story, i honestly dont know what may happen to me or my children if they lose me, right now i feel like i've got nowhere left to turn and have my doubts about this place as well.. i know my story will shock you but i cant keep it in any longer.

  i am recently disfellowshipped for immorality, the subject of a kingdom hall witch -hunt and subsequent congregational humiliation, .

  during the process of the judicial committee meetings and proceedings no consideration was given to my real human circumstances nor to the spirit of survival nor human nature nor that of a mother seeking to protect her children from lack of basic fundamentals such as food, shelter and clothing.

  No, I'm not heartless at all, I'm a good friend to have in times of trouble. I'd be down the M5 like a shot if you had a problem. Is it Tiverton or Exeter?

  This person isn't in trouble, this person is trolling. The post is sickening to say the least, particularly where she repeatedly says to Tina "I knew you'd say that, I knew you'd say that".

  Also, she / he /whatever lambasted respected persons on this board under the guise of being emotionally wounded, an "I can lash out but if you retaliate I'll cry" sort of mentality.

  One thing is for sure, she was spot on in her judgement of who would not humour her!

  Bye the way, has any one heard from Focus lately? Hmmmm!

  god tested abraham by telling him to sacrafice his son issac.

  since god is omniscient (knows all, knows the end from the beginning) he already knew abraham would go through with it unless god stopped him.

  what was the purpose of this test?.

  Was It Too Much For My Dub In The Pub?

  i'm feeling a little disappointed with my jw pal, the dub in the pub.. we were having a good conversation over a few beers, and i actually got him to admit that he couldn't see the connection between the parable about the fds and the 144,000 any more than i could.. yes, yes, yes!

  Azzazels story sounds like something that Her Ladyship would read and snivel at in a Catherine Cookson story.

  Presumably she was ravaged by the local squires son (the one with the silver lick in his forelock) before being thrown onto the streets of Spittlefields where Jack the Ripper is lying in wait.......

  I notice that the attacks on the outspoken members of this board were also attacks on those who are particularly good at expressing themselves, and who are also spectacularly skilful at nobbling the WTBTS.

  Methinks this is a mischievous post meant to undermine the anti-JW contingent, I don't believe a word of it.

  Marijuana...should it be legalised?

  after talkin in chat tonight....it has got me and a friend talkin about whether marijuana should be legalised.. my view...yes, .

  i) who has the right to tell me what to do with my own body?.

  ii) alcohol is a legalised drug....each year more deaths occur through alcohol abuse than marijuana usage.. iii) people smoke it anyway and the question is not bein addressed.. iv) it's great to get stoned!!!

  Non-smokers dont smoke anything, including pot, the dumbest part of exiting dubdom is taking up smoking. Great, cut off 25% of your hearts oxygen requirement, watch your heart beat soar into the 80's as it struggles to survive, lie in bed at night with lung cancer and scream why why why was I so stupid?

  Keep your pot matey, there aint nothin' natural about breathing smoke unless you're a dragon.

  like new zealand the uk will shortly hold it's 10 year census.. rumour has it that if 10,000 people say they belong to a certain religion, ie "jedi", then that religion is officially recognised by the state.. is it my devious mind, or do i see an opportunity for a bit of fun here?.

  is this the one time that a chain email could be useful?.

  and what would get the uk dubs hot under the collar?.

  Well, Trev, it was my round.

  He was at the Kronenburg, I was seeing off the Ushers best bitter.

  Ladies present were his non-dub wife who also smokes for Somerset.

  Some considerable ribaldry was also taking place re how many of our sheep the US could drop on China before they got irked by it.

  Kingdom Melodies Cassette #990

  alright, this is one of those what was your favourite questions:.

  when you were a witness (or even if youre still reluctantly attached like me), did you have a favourite kingdom melody (why couldnt they just be called hymns by the way)?.

  i remember thinking they were ok as a young child, but that was until i got to secondary school and heard the other kids singing proper hymns in assembly, while i had to stand outside.

  Can't remember the title, but one song that gave me the abdabs when I lived with my parents contained the line: "How pleasant to see brothers who dwell in unity, who truly love each other and live in harmony".

  My mum was a very pious piano playing dub back then, and would always belt out that verse when kid bro and me were squabbling. Uuurgh.

  BUT! Try humming - or singing - that tune at double speed and you have got the Looney Tunes theme! Go on, give it a go!
