I totally agree. One reason i was hesitent to come to some "apostate" sites was the pure sillyness of some the material. But i know that there is a lot of truth mixed in with a few duds... and i understand how easy it is to get over zaalous and start gossiping and granted some elders meeting proabably go exactly as described.... somewhere at some time....

What do elders talk about behind closed doors?
by JH injust about every time i went to the kingdom hall, i used to see a few elders gather in the 2nd school and close the door and stay there maybe 10 or 15 minutes.
oh, what they were doing seemed so important... .

The watchtower has always seemed to be on par with god to me. Ever since i was a kid it seemed like a quote form the watchtower or a publication was equal to the word of god.... it always bothered me because whenever they were wrong then they just pass it off as an honest mistake.... sigh well at least now they have a spiffy prince-ified theme song to hum while walking door to door.....

I've always personally held that Sports are the true root of all evil except the occasional basketball game or what-not..... The super bowl can suck it in my opinion :)

Yeah i know... it was a rather weak performance to say the although i can't say i'm a very big "fan" so i guess i'm biased. What was up with his giant taw-cross-esque symbol thing. I thought he stopped using that a while back. maybe that's his little way at giving the WTS the old bird :)

since i was a kid ive had reoccuring episodes of sleep paralysis which is where you may awake from sleep completely unable to move. it has to do with your brain not switching over from REM sleep to conciousness... in this state you feel trapped in what feels like a lifeless body and often you'll see images from your dreams in your semi-concious state kinda like hallucinations.,, scary thing for an adult let alone a little kid.

I happen to be of the homeschooled class.... my parents hooked me up to some online homeschool called ECOT. Homeschooling in my opinion has made me a very lonely person but im sure it works for some...
