  Thank God for JWD

  or thank the great spirit, whatever.. this place has helped me heal more than anything else i have tried.

  all of your stories, triumphs, even the setbacks are inspiring.. for once in my life i feel like "yes, i can go on!!

  i never imagined how long it takes that mentality to leave you when you are born in.

  But do it for yourself.

  Do you remember these words you wrote in your profile?
  
  It turned out that God doesn't need anything from me. It turned out that he wants me to enjoy what he's created and not spend my time as a busy body, telling others what they should believe. I'm finally able to see God as a wonderful and kind person who is worth knowing. I don't wake up each day wondering if this will be the one that God will pour out his righteous anger upon me. I see the birds, flowers, kittys, puppys, and smiles of other people and I feel close to whoever took the time to include such precious details into life.
  
  Personally I have always remembered them. So well spoken and true.
  
  Although I uses the word 'my friend' in place of god.
  
  Here is wishing you the best in whatever you embark on.

  Can the WTBTS change 1914 and survive?

  the society has changed equally as big doctrines in the past, but could this end the illusion?

  i have read a lot of leolaia posts and have seen the attempt of scholar to counteract however unconvincingly.

  im not after conspiracy, im after fact, could they move the end of the gentile times to 1934/35?

  ME is of the thought that the WBTS 1914 debacle could survive IF they asked the member here on JWD to help them.
  
  The people in the WBTS who produce the SHOW can not see the forest (total picture), because of the trees they are in. Their choice.
  
  However, the people here on JWD have seen (their choice) the SHOW and can look back, from an outside view, an edit.
  
  (ME think the WBTS does not want to see things from an outside view. Only what they can slant in their direction. Thus making a good show from their viewpoint).
  
  So JWD can help the poor little business organization that is struggling to stay alive.
  
  What do you say?
  
  Just keep in mind that some people like their show (They have that right). While others, after seeing it over and over, find it not up to their expectation(They have that right).
  
  For ME history has said something.
  
  All institutions (commercial, political, religious), that have not done right by their fellow humans have not fared well.
  
  ME’s good friend is looking on (from a higher viewpoint), and is watching the SHOW that the human family is producing. In time he will edit the SHOW.
  
  ME will just have to wait and see what he produces.
  
  In the mean time ME will enjoy ME’s fellow humans shows (hoping ME lives long enough to see them all), that have been produced and will continue to be produce.

  If your question was, Are witnesses interested in the prize?. My answer would be, yes.
  Everyone is interested in a prize.
  
  But your question is, Are witnesses ONLY interested in the prize?
  
  To that I say, No.
  
  A year or so ago I heard you say, (and I agree) that there are many good people that go to the kingdom hall. It’s the WBTS that is the problem. Again I agree.
  
  In all fairness. Most thought, in good faith, that they were doing the correct thing.
  
  The bible does offer that viewpoint.
  
  However, every soul is responsible for the direction of its life. If it is mentally capable.
  
  It’s too bad that after the WBTS, like may other religious organization, come to recognize that they found something in the bible that could attract people they used it in a selfish way.

  this yet again proves how useless even making stats like this public are.

  it just gives people ammo to say, "i have 25,000 posts so obviously i am more vested in this board then you".

  Question one.
  
  Should this be considered the final copy?
  
  I think it is well thought out and addresses most of the major things
  
  that have caused much emotional and physical harm to so many.
  
  While most of us will never feel the same as we once did perhaps it
  
  can benefit some in the future.
  
  
  It's evident that the fleshly mind took over the spiritual mind and created
  
  the monster 'WBTS' that we are seeing that has little regard for the R & F.
  
  
  Question two.
  
  Will there be some sort of timeline for sending these letters out?

  Besides using a local phone book, as has been suggested, to find addresses for kingdom halls:
  
  We can also type into Google search JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES KINGDOM HALL followed by the state abbreviations such as NY, NJ, etc.
  
  It is then possible to click on any of the cities to get addresses that a person may want to send to..
  
  Perhaps this can broaden the audience we are trying to help.

  greetings fellow apostates!

  i should introduce myself, since this is my first post.

  i'm actually not an ex-jw, but rather someone who has just lost his faith in a different church, the mormon church.

  i've long suspected that in terms of the organizational aspects of our two churches, how they hook you mentally, how they condition you, how they socialize you and make it very hard to leave, from an abstract level there's really not a dime's worth of difference.
