Full time service among ex JWs

it seems that a disproportionate percentage of us were involved in the fulltime service at some point.. does this have something to do with us being exes?.

I just had posted to that point last days.

This was just my experience all the time I'm JW. The most hypocritical persons were the most diligent ones. They confounded org-service with "strive to perfection", with "worldly career" and oppressed plain proclaimers with injustice.

Now, at the end of their way of hypocrisy, and gone away from the org, they are striving to proof the evolution-theory and the non-existance of God exactly with those words taken from the bible (it's an exception yes; but has indeed happen!)

I am not in the mood to forgive and love those ones anymore any time.

Please go to a patent agent who is expert in electronic/informatic - matters and ask him about what I allege. Be sure he will proof what I state.. It's so easy: What cannot be patented in a manner the patentee get sufficient protection and security in patent infringing matters, is not "patentable" because, simply said: IT IS NOT NEW (or much more simply: It is a copy, and no invention...)

I already told the folks here in this forum:
They had to change the patent and license-policy world-wide, and adapt it to the real requirements.
If really done so, the world will change its face totally, in positive respects. Global co-operation must take place the in many scientific and technological branches.

But otherwise, if not done so: then the world will change it's face
in an other way. There will be a financial and economic collapse.

You forgot to mention one of the most important points: Intellectual resources (inventions, patents, arts etc.)

They are going to run out recently, but very few folks take notice of. The NewEconomy-crash since May 2001 is a result of that facts.
International patenting- and licensing system is disastrous. They would have the need to adapt it to the current requirements of 2001, but they cannot come to an agreement. See software-patents, see patents on business-methods, see patents on life-forms, DNA, etc. which are no "inventions" at all, but deals of despair...

When experts and international patent offices will be ready to agree and come to new laws, its maybe too late, and the big financial crash is marching on..

Believe me: YHVH/JHWH hate 'em too.
What they really had to do as soon as possible, is: To build bridges between the message of scientists and their current understanding of the surrounding reality, and the message the bible tells us. It is absolutely nonsense to call the world of science a "satanic world"; rather it is the world of false religions, politics, wars, business, media etc.

In a "spiritual paradise" (a WTS- term) it would never be possible there could happen an accident like as yours and your husband and his familiy. I think for you there is no need for an exorcism;-) ; rather for the elders and ministral servants in your CO, who enforced you preaching from door to door without having religious conviction, until you began to suffer under depressions.

I don't know why you became an atheist, evolutionist, nihilist, with hatred against God and world and JW's and "dubs" and all type of religion and ideology and maybe with hatred against yourself too..

I am curious to hear your story. Maybe some traumatic accident and injustice had made you so hating.

The problem is, that hate and fanaticism cannot make the things go better in this world. Neither - (yes, it's disappointing!) - hate in the eyes of some "elder" (JW's) nor in the eyes of antagonists.

butalbee - if she is a JW, and get depressions: she probably can get out of the depressions if she leaves the org; at least for a while (if she becomes treated with injustice and stupidity, e.g. by an elder...)

But you?
I am sure you will get the same depressions in your life, but in a much more terrible manner. If the world is treating you with injustice (what certainly will happen!), and you get frustrated and depressed, where will you go then ??

Congratulations to you and your wife, and your friends (Jw's and nonJW's). Your story is fascinating and it teaches us to see some matters not too seriously....

But what I never can understand is the fact you've been an elder (who certainly studied the bible centuries of your life), and you are found now as atheist, evolutionist, nihilist... Did you ever set your feet on the stage, 100%-convinced that everything you are going to say is absolutely in accordance with your innermost belief and conviction?

I do not think in this way, and that's the reason why I never asked for speech or other "privileges" inside of JW's org. Never, since 20 years. I refused all encouragements.

I have full comprehension to plain proclaimers (JW's), who left the org caused through matters of injustice, but never regarding ex-elders. All elders (worldwide, exJW or active JW) are fully co-responsible for all the destructive decline in JW's org, and they will be made responsible and - if necessary - punished by the Almighty God himself.

How to help an active jw to go out??

one of my sister who is a jw is still trying to keep contact with us and she's is supposed to shun us.

the problem is that i don't know if i want to see her again, we have almost nothing in common and i see her just once a year but she continue to send us letters at every months and she always told us that she love us.

i would like to do something to make her realize that the wbts doesn't have the truth but i know that she will consider me as an apostate if i say something bad about the jw.. black holes are where god divided by zero.

Every witness I know is on an antidepressant--why is that?
Including myself now...

This is no characteristic symptom for JW's. Same happens to nonJW's and exJW's ! Depressions are symptom for the disease of the whole World's system.
What I would commit to you is: Watch and observe the situation inside and outside of JW's Org, and wait until changes! If you still are JW, please do not leave the Org! Only if we are part of the Org, we can undertake something to get things better. Fight against injustice! Jehovah will stay at the side of the brave and righteous ones!
