  Timing for coming out of the closet

  here's my situation.. i was raised in an extremely conservative jw family and have been one my whole life.

  i have completely stopped going to meetings several months ago.

  it has been a gradual fade for the past couple of years but all my wt activities have come to a grinding halt at this time as i no longer believe any of the things that were taught thanks to research that i have done on the org.

  SCHIZOPHRENIA + JWS = ??

  i really am upset right now, and for a wide variety of reasons.

  but number one on my list right now is my worry about my aunt.

  my aunt is schizophrenic and obviously off her meds.

  What is the latest date now in the WT for Armegeddon?

  i have been unable to find it.

  i heard the latest date given is 2006, is this correct?

  No, blondie, I am sure there will be no new date for Armageddon in the future.

  If it comes indeed, then it comes totally unexpected, btw. in an unexpected manner. No GB-member will have got a blind idea before it happens.

  when an apostate(a) and jw having a conversation.. a : in genesis 1:26 with who was god speaking to ?

  gen 1:26 and god went on to say: let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every moving animal that is moving upon the earth.

  jw : on that verse?

  The answer is simple:

  JHWH used the so-called "majesty plural" - in Latin called "pluralis majestaticus".

  This is no hidden hint to any type of "trinity" or hint that any angle or archangle was involved.

  Th "majesty plural" is often used in a speech of a pope or regent or king etc.

  while i think it's perfectly okay, i do wonder what motivates jws to post here and especially to also express views critical of ex-jws.

  is it the freudian notion of "projection": the jw who denounces something in others that he or she is also guilty of?

  hence, if a jw clearly denounces an apostate's faults, it must mean the jw is really against apostasy when it might be something he or she struggles with.

  It is NOT "JHWH" telling me to avoid this board here.

  Its people. Some of them have got no blind idea what "JHWH" actually means.

  Nobody has the right to forbid to visit this sites or to post any comment. I say: NOBODY. If I, as a JW, decide to do so, then it is my OWN business, and it is within my OWN responsibility and consciences. Besides, think at Ac. 5:29.
