worship is man's natural reaction to god...if...god has made him a certain way.. otherwise, the man who experiences no reaction to god (or a negative one) is a vessal made for destruction.. in romans 9 paul goes on an on about god being like a potter who makes some pots that aren't worth keeping and other pots that are worth using.. we are one pot or the other!.

Hmmmm...that's a good question. I can't speak for the other aposababes, but I am, for the first time in my LIFE, content w/ myself and my singleness. I'm not actively looking for a boyfriend anymore and I am enjoying my life and freedom. When it happens, it happens. Since it hasn't, yet, I am doing what I want, when I want, w/ whomever I want.

by oompa inok, slowly awakening and fading at the same time for two years now, and did not plan it.
i tell my wife last night i have been having some interesting e-mails with my dad about the qb from the sept km we are to study this week.
she says she has read it, but does not remember it.

Oompa, I am so sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, it happens to families all over the globe everyday. Of course, the 2 things that a lot of JW couples have in common are the religion and sexual attraction to each other. I know from experience that when you remove the religion from the mix it is very hard to keep the marriage together and it goes downhill FAST. I hope things get better for you. Better being that she starts to see through the WTS bullshit.

Did Adam and Eve ask to be created? Did Adam and Eve choose to enter into an agreement stating that if they were given "life to time indefinite" then they agree to worship and show obeisance to God? From my study and discussions of the Bible, the answer to both of these questions in a big fat NEGATIVE. I find it very arrogant of God to create an entire universe for the sole purpose of praising his name.

Yeah! That was the "Land Shark" skit w/ Candace Bergen as the householder that clobbered the JW. The literature went flying all over the place...funny stuff! I looked for the skit on youtube and myspace videos to paste here, but that particular segment isn't avaiable. I've only seen it on the best of Chevy Chase from his years on SNL.
