i stopped going to meetings over a year ago as i'm a lesbian and have finally accepted it.

i was a witness for 22 years, since i was born.

now i missed my friends at the hall at first, but now i have some amazing new friends that love me no matter what.

Will the Book Study ever be dropped from the weekly meetings?

by RULES & REGULATIONS in

the book study is one of the most useless meetings.

the same books have been studied 3 or 4 times.the meeting takes only an hour but takes up most of your evening.

and, it is one of the least attended meetings.. why haven't they combined the watchtower study with just question and answer and then follow with the book study with just question and answer?

From what I remember, and this was many moons ago, we were instructed that during "Armegeddon" the bookstudy would quite possibly be the only meeting being conducted. I remember our bookstudy conductor telling us that when the UN turns against the JWs, meeting in the KH wouldn't be an option. They would have to meet in secret groups for "spiritual food".

What exactly can I get disfellowshipped for?

my husband and i have been inactive for almost 8 months.

we haven't gone to a meeting and slowly our jw friends have stopped associating with us because we're "weak".

at some point, we'll be celebrating holidays.

If they don't like you, they can find a way.

Pretty soon it's going to be a disfellowshipping offense to use Charmin instead of Cottonelle to wipe your ass. I wouldn't be surprised if they assigned the bookstudy conductors to inspect everyone's bathroom and linen closets.

I've got the radio on here at my desk and "How Far We've Come" the new one by Matchbox 20 just came on. I started doing "The Carlton" in my chair. I guess this is now added to my "feel good songs" list.

Do the Equinoxes Affect Mood?

i have found some evidence, mostly anecdotal, to indicate that the equinoxes can be times of extreme mood change, due to the accelerated changes from light to darkness.

if one is diagnosed as bi-polar, the equinoxes may exacerbate the condition.

any thoughts?
