by flipper inmy wife and my close friend life is too short is recovering from a hernia operation performed yesterday.
she is doing fine, just a bit sore .
she worked really hard in bethel and had a hernia before from lifting too much in her job back there.

MS shuns Witness parents

there was a young boy from my former congregatioin,he was about 5 years younger than me.. and his parents were overly strict with him.
but,i think the combination of being witnesses plus being raised the old-fashioned,southern way themselves was a bad combo for their son.. anyway,he got a lot of beatings at the meetings.

because children that were abused have more of a tendency to abuse their children.
This is simply not true. Most abusers were abused, but most of the abused become protectors.
But, my point in all this is, it just made me angry that everyone seems to side with the parents. And maybe one day,he will work everything out,but no one really can understand the full effect his upbringing had on him.
It's not surprising that the jws are siding with the parents. After all, the parents only did what the Watchtower encouraged. The son is using a penalty that the organization reserves for sinners and vile apostates. Things are always ass backwards with this cult. Battered women are encouraged to be better wives, and molested children are required to produce two witnesses to one of the filthiest, most secretive crimes on the planet, while the wife beaters and child molestors are held in the highest esteem.

Today my husband surprised me...
by mrsjones5 inyesterday we were getting our van repaired and while that was going on we decided to window shop at a really cool furniture consignment shop.
i saw a baker's rack that was really nice and that i would love to have.
hubby looked at it too and thought it was a nice piece but we had to leave the shop to pick our van.

i found the woman of my dreams!
by varian inlast weekend i had a date.
i immidaiately fell in love.
we met the following day again, and arranged another date for tomorrow.. well, yesterday she sent me a text message, stating that she no longer has an interest in seeing me again, because she discovered other pics of myself on other dating web sites.

Scully brings up a good question. If your friend's answer is a good one, then why not sign into those dating sites in front of her Surely there's some indication that you haven't been on them in quite a while. Then delete your accounts in front of her.

Glad to hear that you're still in school. Hope you stay safe while serving in the military.
I guess I find it hard to believe an undercover apostate would stay in, I mean if he was undercover wouldn't he have at least confided in me? When I asked to meet him he took backup with him.
There are lots of undercover apostates who stay in, because they feel foced to in order to keep their families together. If he is an apostate, he's been around long enough to know better than to confide in anyone. He may have brought back up to keep himself from spilling the beans.

he told me that he was worried about me and that he wanted to speak to me as to why i havnt been going to the meetings or on the field service.
i told him that im just not discussing the reasons at all.
