Born and raised a JW. Never felt comfortable with the identity, but had the fear of God instilled so deeply into me as a child that I dare not give it up entirely, consequently was once accused of being a 'fringe dweller'. Stuck in a very unsatisfying no man's land. Been free for about 6 years now...Richard Dawkins has convinced me there just aint no eye in the sky. I can finally steer my own course through life without being hindered by groundless fears and contorted edicts. So this life really is all there is. I appreciate it so much more for the knowing. I think I'll start to live it. What a relief!
