Yes! LOL I was just saying this to someone this morning. Every time I turn around, my 10 month old is shaving years off of my life with some new ingenious way she's discovered to try and injure herself. We must be ever vigilant!

Has anyone signed up for this? If so, what are the pros/cons? Are your clients apprehensive about it? Is it reliable? I'm in love with the concept, but I don't know much about how security is handled with these types of transactions and this looks like a fairly new thing. Paypal's fees are a bit higher for the level of transaction that I usually do, and you can't use Paypal on the go, but it is a trusted company that's been around for a while.
Anyway, I've read their website, but would appreciate some real-world feedback. Thanks!

One Reason Why I Speak About Racism

if anyone cares or dares to read this, this is how it was when i was 13 years of age.. the gap in funding for black and white kids' education is still stunning to me 46 years later, but it's there in black and white.. it's a testament to our determination and fortitude that we acquired an education at all.. this, in the richest country on the planet!.
for your edification and, hopefully, understanding.. syl.

Sylvia,
Some people are never going to "get it", for whatever reason, malignant or benign. I've found that it's a waste of time trying to convince them of anything, and you're definitely doing yourself a disservice if you let it consume you.
You seem like a nice person. Keep living, keep loving and let the rest slide off your back.

How many here have worked in social work, etc. & DON'T think MJ was a molester?
by avishai ini mean, c'mon, people.
seriously, i admire those who want to think the best.
but the guy had just about every red flag/indicator you can have.

I'm a former social worker and current lawyer, and I don't think he did it. But that's just my opinion. I think he was a troubled man, and I think he considered himself a kid on the same level as the kids he hung around. But I don't think he molested any. I think he liked kids so much because kids tend to have a certain "innocence", in the sense that most of them wouldn't care about his money or fame or influence. And there were probably very few adults in his life of which the same could be said. Again, this is just my opinion. I didn't personally know the man or the facts surrounding the case, so I can't say anything for sure either way. If I didn't have experience with juries, I would be shocked at the level of conviction of a lot of people here.
People are looking at this and making conclusions based on our NORMAL view of reality. Michael Jackson's reality was nothing like ours, and the reality of the judicial system is nothing like you see on TV or what you think it should be. On a daily basis, innocent peope plead guilty, innocent people settle, innocent people are convicted and put to death, and don't even get me started on district attorneys...

Thanks all for the congrats.
LOL @ Skeeter! I'm just glad to have it all behind me.
HL, law school is a good stepping stone for politics. We had plenty up-and-comers in my class. As for me, HA! There's too much fodder for mudslinging in my past for me to ever consider politics!

I take the bar in July. The law firm I work for is a general practice, so we practice lots of different kinds of law, but we mostly do family law and personal injury. Congrats on getting into law school. I'll PM you with more about law school in general.

Thanks guys. I thought about mailing the card back to her, but I didn't want to be ugly. It wouldn't do any good anyway. I just tossed it aside and refused to let it ruin my day.

I graduated from law school this morning! It was a very special day. My sister came into town and gave me a card that read:
"Congratulations on your graduation! Best wishes on your future. You should be proud of your accomplishments. However, none of this would be possible without our loving creator, Jehovah - for he gave us life. Remember Jehovah." (Emphasis hers, not mine.)
