So you are not DFed or DAed yourself, you just stopped going to meetings? My parents DAed their selves, I learned certain things and stopped going to meetings for about a year now.
Does your family still talk to you? Even though I am technically still a JW because I haven't DAed myself, no one from the kingdom hall talks to me either. You will like it here I think.
There are a lot of people here and they are supportive, funny, and just friendly!

did giving talks, parts on the meetings or even answering make you nervous and how did you handle or deal with it?.
did you ever lie to get out of giving a assignment because of nerves?.
Well I joined the school In my later teens. I was really nervous about giving a talk. I told the elders that I wanted to be a householder for a while (which is probably what most people do
anyway). So I was a householder a few times then I was given my first talk. The night I was supposed to give it the meeting was cancelled because of snow or ice. I was so happy!
if someone is disfellowshiped or disassociates themselves from the jws, they are to be considered "worldly", right?
if jws can talk to other non jws, why are non jws who used to be .
jws so much worse that they can't talk to them?

Also that maybe they changed the announcement because of legal reasons, with the extra benefit of deceiving the JWs. I did hear that they used to announce something that implied the
person was no longer a Christian. I see how that could make people mad and easy enough to prove wrong and that it is slader to sue them. Does anyone know about this? I think maybe
they said no longer part of the Christian congregation.

it also could be a cost cutting measure to though.
getting rid of the km's and even up awakes and watchtowers would save some trees.
Blondie, maybe if they get rid of the KM they'll get rid of the service meeting and the school with those made up situations! No, that would never happen.

But you know how if you forget your magazine they have a pile in the back? Couldn't you just take it from that? And if it's your first time back, do you have to wait untill you've been
attending regularily to get magazines for service? Oh no wait... those are different magazines. That wasn't supposed to be a joke. lol. I just remembered as I was typing.

Someone earlier said that only JWs in good standing could get the JW only Watchtower. Then someone posted what they heard on the announcements and it didn't say active JWs, but
publishers. So do you have to be active? Do you think they are going to make a big deal about it like it's some kind of VIP thing? lol. I guess they couldn't if you'll hear it being read at the
Sunday meetings.

Looking Glass, that just takes me to a whole other topic which can get me started. I hate how just because someone decides to leave the organization, they also decide to leave the truth and also God. It could never be because they are doing it for the truth. The truth does not mean the same as the watchtower. I know that to JWs it's worse to know the truth and deny it than to not know it, which is how they think when thinking about people who leave the org. I just don't agree with their thinking, that's all.
