  Ran into a JW and DFed, DAed, or faded?

  okay, i'm interested in experiences where you are dfed, daed or faded and you ran into a jw somewhere.

  if you are dfed or daed, most likely they'd just ignore you.

  this is unless you ran into them at work (like a restaurant, bank, grocery store) where it is there job to talk to you.

  Okay, I'm interested in experiences where you are DFed, DAed or faded and you ran into a JW somewhere. If you are DFed or DAed, most likely they'd just ignore you. This is unless you ran into them at work (like a restaurant, bank, grocery store) where it is there job to talk to you.

  I haven't gone to a meeting in a while and when I run into a JW it is overwhelming for me. I get really unconfortable and a bit nervous. Once I ran into a woman at Blockbuster. She said hi in the store and then came behind me in line and said, "So...you haven't been at the meeting in a while." I said, "No, I haven't." If she was trying to be encouraging, not a very good job! Then once a woman gave me a tap on the shoulder in line at the grocery store. She only asked me how my little brother was, like the rest of my family died! My parents DAed themselves. Why is it always in line! I'm forced to wait right there beside them. It's very awkward!

  That is not fair to the 8 year old! They shouldn't be allowed to baptise people under 18. You can't even sign a contract as a minor and if you do it's void. Don't get me wrong, 8 year olds are very smart, but it is a fact that their frontal lobe has not fully developed yet which will effect their ability to reason. It's just that once they grow up and reasearch, they may decide that they don't want to be a JW anymore. But they may be shunned by family members if they leave so the only thing that is keeping them there is because they feel trapped. It's just not fair!

  I asked the same thing about 2014. All it is is 100 years after 1914.

  About the memorial invites, I don't know how it is any different from every other year. Then again, I don't really know much about what new goes on in the organization since I haven't gone in a year.

  They have only been around for about 100 years. That is not along time. The thing is that they try and trap them in because they don't want their families to shun them. The only thing I hope is that their statistics will worsen and people will ask them selves why aren't they better if this is Jehovah's organization.

  What you said about the JW population not reaching 7 million reminds me of when I was comparing the 2005 and 2006 reports on their site last night. There population did raise slightly, but what I found interesting was that the memorial attendance decreased and the number of partakers increased! lol I think all those people are just phonies! Is there anyone on this board that has partaken and feels differently?

  Oh ok, thanks. I thought if they predicted something I would have read about it by now. Anyway, they would never predict anything again, just IMPLY, then later blame the flock.

  Cults come and go so do you think the WTBTS will eventually come to an end? I think about this sometimes and I wonder if I will live to see it. The reason why I want it to end is because I don't like the administration. But I don't know how the WTBTS could fall apart since many are so loyal to them. There are certain hard core witnesses that are so loyal to the "faithful and discreet slave" that I don't know if they would ever question them, but instead defend them.

  I think if the WBTS ended it would have to be because of the administration in some way. Maybe there could be some kind of revolt or disagreement within the administration. I used to wonder what they'd do when all the governing body members die, but they would just add new ones.

  Do you guys think the WTBTS will ever come to an end and if yes, how do you think it will happen?
